:: Better late than never ...

It has been awhile since we had any news posted. Not that we did not have anything to report, but Loladene decided to install an upgrade on the Real Life Series expansion. I heard a little bird whisper that there might be more expansions from that series being due as well ...

So what happened since the last update? Easy answer: A lot!

First of all we opened recruitement. Literally to all classes, even Mages! So if you are looking for a cool guild check out our forums and read the guidelines for applications or contact us online. Don't be shy!

So now the important question. What did we do online? Well, we did some farming, some more farming and after that we farmed a bit more. And we had guild firsts!

Fippy's new beefed up version was no match for our massive waves of wiping. In one of the previous raids we sacrificed our glorious raid leader to ensure perfect conditions and after a warm up in South Karana we felt ready.

Jitatha Crucified

What is there to say, he is dead Jim and we got the chest!

Fippy dead

Another strange thing happened: Our usually AFK casters woke up on his loot and started to spend dkp! Rare indeed!

oooh Casters bidding

Grats all the first Fippy winners on their loot:

Mythrill - Sabertooth Shoulderguards
Leleane - Palladium Encrusted Carpal Clay
Docoe - Mask of the Undying
Balogh - Palladium Encrusted Phalangeal Clay

Even on the 2nd kill our casters were still big spenders. Keep it going guys.

I want to point out that Jyve is our best haxx0r player ever! He is the Chuck Norris of EQ!!!

Jyve as Chuck Norris

Another guild first was the Beast thing in the cooling chamber. Again we used our superior „wipe with force“ (tm) in the beginning to refine our strategy and were rewarded with an almost flawless victory.

Grats all first time winners!

Xatranaz - Strongest Link
Vearre - Palladium Encrusted Phalangeal Clay
Jitatha - Collar of Dimensional Control
Zhaelli - Palladium Encrusted Phalangeal Clay

We will be back to gank this mob soon enough!

I wish I could say more about those two amzing victories, but I haven't been on much lately and missed those fantastic fights! All I can say good job Jitatha and Goldax, our raid leading team!

One thing we did for sure is farming. From our last news update you know that we won all Tower Events. We went back there over and over and over and over and over and over again to improve our tactics and gear up. And we did improve. Even clerics know their way to tower entrance now. Of course we don't ask them to run there and they can convienently slack like most of us until the banner is set.

Farming stuff long term affects all members of a guild. Wizards go afk, others don't log on and some, just some keep up the spirit!

One of them is Shadowbeaver: Mostly seen dead, Shadowbeaver still tries to cheer people by providing a good head start for jokes.

Of course some couldn't resist...

And some really try hard to get on the front page. Grats Peppar, I am indeed looking for screenshots nowadays and you made it!

And now one word about the former News updates! Kudos to Lola! This takes load of time! I hope we have you back soon!

That's it from me for now and my first update. I try to post more regular than it happened lately and hope Lola will take it over soon again ;)

:: Holiday 2009
Happy Holidays everyone. I know it has been a while since we had an update, but I couldn't resist a chance to give you the big year end blow out. So many things to talk about since the last time I updated. We could talk about guild firsts, or we could talk about the underfoot expansion that was released to the content hungry masses on 15 December. Hell I could even talk about Tryg's problems with the opposite sex, but no.... I must talk about something more important then all of that. Also as a holiday treat I'll mention everything else you've come to love & hate in an update from yours truly.

Let's talk about the new expansion!

DING 85! Oh wait that happened last year. Umm, yeah, ding awesome spells! Errr, wait there aren't any. Hmm, Oh I know Ding new AA's! Nah, they suck and are unthoughtful.
To be honest nothing in the new expansion is new except this...
Cast Spell, summon, 7k, 7k, 7k, 7k, Return to bind, 7k, 7k, 7k....
With visions of Gates of Discord raping in my head! Thank you Sony for putting anyone who is casually geared, (no one in our guild of course), in a place where they won't get anything for a long time as the Mercs can't sustain any of that punishment!
And that achievement system, which I was personally looking forward to, looks like a last minute oh yeah lets put that in there as well instead of something fun and helping to spice up the game a bit. Good job at siphoning money out of the masses!

Ok enough of the bashing Sony stuff. You guys wanna hear about new kills!
Well lets see there have been more then one new guild firsts in the past two months. In fact there have been 10 guild firsts! I know, I slack. Bite me.
I won't go through for the grats on all the targets will only point out a thing or two from the last target. But to the naysayers I offer you this. When I last updated we had all of the Tower of Discord plus two events in the Earth Expedition!

Earth Dead

I'm not going to bother doing a grats on the gear gotten there as most has been upgraded with gear since then, but a hearty grats to those who won gear on those two mobs. Oh and yes I was drinking when I was cutting and pasting that pic.

So obviously that leaves us with 8 events to talk about.

Those events are:

1. Mindblight
2. Trophy Room
3. Stasis
4. Scrying
5. Sacrifice
6. Elite Tower Guards (ok not a real event but has a lockout)
7. Overlord Muram
8. Edge of Destruction

I was going to talk about how hard these events were, the trials, blood, sweat and tears that went into each and every event... but minus the tears from Tryg, none of that happened. As a matter of fact there is an old saying that goes like this. A Picture is worth a 1000 Words.

Oh yeah baby!

I was sleeping on patch day

Yeah I didn't log on for the Elite tower guards or Overlord Muram. The guild did that on patch day. I kind of figured we wouldn't raid that day with expansion released on the same day.

Grats to Balogh on Fateslayer

Tendil on Cloak of Darkest night

Jitatha and Ayochak on Phased Coeveal incandessence

So we beat Seeds of Destruction two days after launch of Underfoot. Not bad for some casual raiding lunactics!
Although, it is of my opinion, that we beat the true boss of SoD last October when we beat the Zek brothers!
If you doubt me, take these statistics into mind. We were the 53rd guild, server wide, to beat the Citadel.
So far only 50 have beaten the Earth Theme, and a good chunk of them geared up in Tower to beat the Zek brothers.

The only thing we have left to do for progression is best told to you by someone who has experience on the topic.

Yeah Right

So I'd like to say be safe during this holiday season, good cheer and all that bah humbug.
With That I leave you with these small quotes from out ever colorful ... guild chat.

Jit has been listening to Jeff Foxworthy lately, and put a bit of twist on you might be a redneck if...
You Might be an asshat if

Do you love chocolate? I love chocolate? Who else loves Chocolate?
I'm a Choclate girl, Vanilla makes me hurl

Mythrill loves choclate as well!
I promise I won't

We got some new people in guild... but where are they?
It's a conspiracy

Who could be the leader of this conspiracy?????!?!?!?!
The Snitch is out there!

Who hasn't gotten enough Ranger hate? Take a look at this pic
Hmmm

So Jit asked the question...
cold blooded

But thats not all! Even SONY knows that rangers suck!
It's a sign Takkin

Speaking of hate, there is a new form. Its Pally on SK
Let the games begin

Slappah was late one day and Jitatha had to inform him about priorities
Get them straight damnit!

Jitatha has been hanging out with the Pallies too much!
Queeny

Hardabit has had troubles lately...but you kind of wonder. What the F*** is wrong with Paladins?
shiver Speaking of Hardabit. Anyone who gets culinary advice from Siegfried is asking for it!
Ewww

Since we are on the subject of Pallies and recently talked about Jitatha. This quote begs to wonder. Is Jit lieing or not? After all he is a Vah Shir.
First we have admitance
Positive thing watch the hairballs

Then we have denial!
I have a cat and have seen it clean its ass

But that statement does make you wonder. How the hell does Sieg know?
Does ears and nose count?

Please though don't get Sieg Excited
umm

Or else he might try to lure people in
You always will be alone

the snitch is right

At least the paladins have someone to talk to on more senitive matters dealing with animals
ask an expert

Enough with Siegfried, what about Tryg you ask? Well Hardabit was trying to give him advice since he's always down on his luck.
nice thought process Hard

I was beginning to think Tryg was getting older and starting to develop standards
About time Tryg

I thought wrong
HELP!

Well everyone, thats enough for this installment, I might blow bandwidth if I keep going. Since it is the Holiday Season, I was searching for the sort of zen moment that would fit the season. with all this talk about Sieg, I could only come up with this!

Merry F'in Xmas

Until next year

:: We Beat SoD!
Welcome back for this short yet very important news announcement!

WE BEAT SEEDS OF DESTRUCTION!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok well not really, but we beat what is in the minds of all end game raiders THE hardest event in the Seeds of Destruction expansion.
Zek Brothers, Tallon and Vallon. Are they brothers or lovers? Reguardless of their orientation we knocked the socks off these two purple idiots!

Grats to Leleane on Fractured Primeval Incandessence
and Icyen on Capu-Tuk, the Painstriker

It took us a long time to figure that event out and to get only 2 loots.... yeah someones going to die tonight.....

So we wondered around the zone and ran into this guy..

I'm his wench

Three and a half minutes later ... It looked more like this....

Suck it!

Grats Takking on Spellbound Earloop
Icyen on Tactician's Trinket
Tindarus on Fractured Primeval Incandessence
and Jitatha on Warped Primeval Incandessence

Defeating those three tools opened up the Rallos Returns event. After beating our heads against the Zek brothers for a good 4 weeks (mind you we only raid 3 times a week,) we thought god now we have to kill there dad! Two hours into our next raid day... Just like Saddam and his sons!

We've already cracked this nut again since Last week...

Grats Keaerian and Finelarya on Earthbound Cinch
Ardbeg on Adelstone Earring
Gillgamesh on Krossmaul
Grats Xatranaz, Girtan, Jitatha and Docoe on Warped Primeval Incandessence

So what does that leave for us here in WoT to do before December you ask? Only have The fall of Toskirakk event (which we almost completed in a one shot one killed) and naturally the 7 events in Citadel of the Worldslayer!

We are Wind of Tranquility, and we are the best damn casual raiding guild serverwide. Period!

We enjoy the content, kick its ass, and wave at the high elf chicks on the way out. Yes Daska only wave, good troll.
Until next time ladies and gentlemen, I leave you with the lighter side of WoT!

We in WoT not only play games but we follow sports and reflect on the things happen in these sports!

You suck and are overpaid

I think the swine flu hit Daska, but that didn't stop us from clowning him

he sneezed...

Speaking of poo... Msha was found almost in the same situation, but add a habenero...

IT BURNS!

Slappah has been seperated from his girlfriend for a while, and he had to take a bit of time away from the raid for some cybor sex, but I think he forgot to minimize Everquest and instead was cyboring the officers!

What do I get for a dollar?

Speaking of Cybor..

Gotcha

There comes a time when people need to get out.. I think Slappah is one of them...

Speed or pleasure

Msha is no different...

but you never asked?

Marrutu has yet to make the front page. And normally I take stuff out of context. I tried, honestly guys I TRIED to take it out of context. It was just funnier to leave it in its entireyy. Welcome to the front page!

sorry couldn't let it go

Future advice from Tyanniea...

solid advice

Haven't made fun of Slappah in two minutes lets continue...

say it loud and say it proud!

Now I don't know what kind of porn he was watching, and to be honest I never want to know....

shudder

Since we are mentioning gayness.. Once you start, it's a way of life no going back on it!

Real question is why were you there in the first place?

If anyone wants to know how to set yourself up for a slam dunk ask Eldig

open mouth insert foot... eww a foot!

For years I have hated Norton antivirus and the Symmantec corporation. I've always suspected they had something else lurking in the background. Meaty has proved me right!

Antivir for the win!

Now for the moment of zen. Ladies and Gentlmen, I know there hasn't been ANYTHING above mentioned about Tryggve.... You think I'm going to let an update go by without something?

Your fired!

Go ahead and count it. Thats right, 26 mez breaks! 26! Not a way to get comfy with Valk I guarantee!

Until Next time guys!

:: Extra Extra Read All About it!
NEWSFLASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have all gone insane!!!

Ok maybe that's not a newsflash, but I got your attention, and so did the mobs in Korafax, Home of the Raiders!

Three encounters ranging from annoying, to boring to wtf! Yes that's right, the Three Stooges of Everquest. Larry, curly and shithead.
I'll take you through these mobs...close your eyes, relax, nevermind the hand on your wallet.. oh yeah that's right, everquest update. Sorry about that.

So we started playing with mobs in Korafax as if yo haven't guessed by now. Venomlord, Pallorax, and the Mindshear Avatar.
The first mob we encountered, mainly as we were all running around the zone aimlessly, was Pallorax. An Extremely annoying fight.
Actually its more annoying with his fear. Having switched from a tune that had the fearless AA to a toon in a dress (no it's not pink) I got to feel what others have felt for the past 3 years. No wait, there really hasn't been a mob with fear in a while...
Basically you engage this asshat, drop him x amount of % and he runs off like a girl in a skined knee. Sometimes he runs, sometimes he warps.. yup Sony at it's best. Then you have to stop him from being a tosser on his minions. Rinse repeat so many times and a win. Sounds easy right?
really, Really, REally, REAlly, REALly, REALLy, REALLY annoying!

Grats Jitatha on Corpse Hook
Utuzeneth on Ksathrax's Toxiferous Ring
Weawen on Ache
Gorduins on Tunare's Tear
Saundra and Gwindar on Horned Broo Mask
and Rodlik, Balogh, Finelarya, Lueamian, and Jitata x2 on Distorted Primeval Luminessence

Moving on we encounted Venom Lord Ksathrax. Interesting look. I have always liked the look of this model, even back in Gates of Discord expansion. But alas, sony made it boring. Slap him a couple hundred times, oh no's! Here come adds. Slap him down some more.... oh no's he split. Slap him some more, oh no's adds again! Slap him some more oh no's adds again. What we have to balance??!?!?!?!?! BURN BURN. Umm yeah, dead mob n stuff.

Grats Boggi on Mask of Dark Tidings
Valkarie and Siegried on Buckler of Defeated Champions
Finelarya and Weawen on Phased Primeval Luminessence
Tinyhealer on Scourge Drape of the Maelfic
Aeryonis, Gorduins, Badabum, Mythril, Jitatha, and Keaerian on Phased Primeval Incandessence
Icyen and Keaerian on Sigil of Pain
and Daska and Xatranaz no Coruscite Band of Vigilence

Well that's two down. That only leaves shithead. That's right the new champion of wtf raids. When I asked siegfried what he thought of the mindshear event, he gave me this response....

AMEN!

Hell even Jitatha gave us a Guild First in this event!

HOLY SHIT YOU KIDDING ME?!

What can you say about a shitty event like this? I can only think of one thing...Thank god its dead!

Grats Keaerian on Ring of Forbearance
Knikob on Attendant's Collar
Xatranaz on Distorted Primeval Incandessence
and Girtan on Phased Prmeval incandessence

woot you fucker!

We are the champions
Well that's about all for now everyone, if you don't mind, I need to go take my dress to the dry cleaners, the Mindshear bled on it. But before I do I'll leave you with the less entertaining part of the update....

Khfara speaks from experience when he wants to get into raids when they are full!

Fell the love

He also wants all the ladies to know that...

Sure your not

Tryg likes to shock us every now and then. I thought the man had no standards at all!

Impressive Tryg

Then he proved me right....

With friends like these who needs enemies

It's ok to make fun of Tryg, seriously he will never remember...

Just keep swimming

Icyen is proving to be the straight up freak in guild!

Put a dinosaur bone in your butt...

While Nickii knows the way to get the upgrades faster!

with or without teeth?

Now while I think she's attractive, it seems we have a few Megan Fox stalkers in our guild...

I always feel like, somebodies watching me

Valkarie was getting a bit busy the other night...

Good Morning Mr. Tyler

The age old question rehashed. Do we come to kill or....

I kill for the cumshot personally

Hardabit has a disfuntional family

GET HIM THROWA!

Just when you thought miracles weren't possible...

Tuesday 18 Aug 2009 day of niceness

Finelarya gives young Msha tips about the finer exotic points of life!

Yes mistress

Wenamcea has to put her foot down as a guild leader from time to time...but... but... ah man.... come on!

I don't know about the feet..

Now for the moment of Zen, that peavful moment in everyone's eq carrier. There is Nothing and I mean NOTHING like getting a crit.... Unless it backfires...

come on!

:: WoT > SoF
Welcome back Wotaholics! It's been CRAZY the past week, so crazy that I HAD to do an update.

well how can you put into words something that is a massive accomplishment. I could give some drawn out story about how this fight was long, mana intensive, zerg beating the mob over the head with a Fine Steel Sword till it gave up it's last breath..... or just show you the screenshot.

Dead Dwagon

We did it
Expansion 14 Complete!

1 pic isn't enough for this

Grats Angely on Luminius Stormcloud Cloak
Brorph on Frozen Coldrage Stud
Weawen on Crystallised Quarreler
Phartos on Blosseron of the Crystalheart
Mythrill on Prismatic Faycite
And Finelarya and Tenalina on Prismatic War-Bishop's Breastplate

So a mere 2 months of non-constant Crystallos action and we beat it.
If my intel is right, and it usually isn't, Kerafyrm is harder then the Citadel!
Speaking of the Citadel, we are on our way to that distant land!
After slaughter Field of Scale 1/2/3 some on the first try we tried our hand at some Earth raids. Well at least the first one, and with a dry rough rape run under our belts we tried a different strategy. Needless to say, the Crystalline Tyranont is lying next to Kerafyrm!

no corpse but screw you

Grats Takkin on Tyrannot Articulation Ring
Rodlok on Living Crystal Ring
Xatranaz and Lueamien on Fractured Primeval Luminesence
lord knows what they made out it!

Now for the lighter side. It's spring, love is in the air, well shit now it's Summer time and everyone is HOT AND HORNY! BRING OUT THE SHEEP!

Did you expect another answer?

So that was funny... then it got weird

Shiver

Speaking of touching....I introduce... your favorite and mine... Tryg!

I always feel like somebody's watching me

And reality hits him...

My reign of terror is growing

Meaty and I got into a conversation about AA's and it somehow turned into a conversation about Masturbation...

Damn right

Then I slapped him with reality

I rule the ruins

Gillgamesh doesn't get my humor

You suck

Yllandra is dedicated with the new systems in getting in contact with GM's, Tinyhealer is more of a realist

I asked the same question

Jitatha gets tired of being asked if people can pee...

tie it in a knot already

There is a limit in which people can not cross. Gwindar passed it. Then he asked...

You bet your ass I did

All I have to say is, my screenshot key was on fire!

I shiver at that sight

Badabumm appologized many times for being late, his claim was that he was feeding the kids. Jit called him a lazy troll, I kind of think he was telling the truth. You tell me...

It's a hard life for a daddy troll

Peppar just recently got married in real life. We congratulate him! But in his haste to get married he had a few questions that he asked the guild and our group of hellions were more then willing to give him the answers he needed in this most critical time of his life!

I'll come and show you

Tryg knows how to do it!

only tryg....

And then the ridicule came...

I'm telling you I can help you

Jit has mature advice

she is lying btw

Then he tried to get some money to pay for the wedding...

I still say prostitution

Slappah had trouble making an important decision in his life! For this one we left the decision in his .... hands.....

we know you didn't install it

Qanlaen has been helping lead raids lately. He claims it's for guild betterment, or does he have an agenda?

You rogues will get it!

I tried to get some love .. and I failed...

I'm telling you I could screw a couch right about now!

And our rogues seem to get lazier by the day..

looked dragable to me

I don't know I'm not a rocket scientist but looked dragable.

Now to our moment of Zen. I gotta say one thing!

WTF!

NO SERIOUSLY WTF?!?!?!! WTF IS THAT ON THE FAR RIGHT!?!?!?!!??!?!

Like a retard warrior family reunion or something. Is that Tryg third from left?

I did this update while the guys were raiding. I will see you in 3 weeks!

:: The Fabled Great Update!
Welcome back to the land of the dead!

Lots of things have been dieing (mainly us,) as we have strated the progression in Crystallos!
We killed our first event and dragons back at the beginning of the fabled period.
So I thought hell, lets wait till fabled season is over with and I'll do this big thing because there might be new fableds.
Man I tell ya Sony never fails to disappoint. With the recession in full swing you could really feel it in Everquest.
10th year anniversary, and all I got was a title, 10kpp, and a "shiny" new roboboar. Ummm yeah at least make it a fast one.
Nope Sony made us run around on a wild goose chase for rehashed gear and clickies that do nothing that shoot fireworks.
Not like 95% of the EQ players have graffics turned down and most are still using the old school graffics!

So we cleared Plane of Time and killed Xegony out of revenge from last year.

dead 4 headed ding0

face down as up Only Planes of Power fabled left unscathed was Cornaiv. Oh wait...He's still broken from last year.
Way to go Sony! You get the Retard Seal of approval!

Yes Sony I'm calling your lazy asses retarded. Freerealms shouldn't get the dev's attention. how about a game we pay for!!!

I guess I shouldn't complain too much, at least we got cake....

Gay

But for you nay sayers we did do some of those boring raids. Epeen at it's finest?

This event was so gay

So anyway let's get onto a meaningful update. Something with real RPG quality! DRAGONS!
No not the Dragons, Dragons, Dragons thing. Even though we cleared all through Big Bynn I. I'm talking about some that actually have DPS!
Crystallos, bloody confusing, not as much trash as MMM (thank god) but still a pain in the ass!
Four Elements to kill in here then bring down Kerafym the sleeping baby and you get another title and an attaboy from Sony!

Kildrukaun the Ancient Prophet: Not a difficult mob, but none the less a good loot mob.

Grats Shadowbeaver on Earring of Dragon's Fire
Tinyhealer on Facemask of Cleansing
Rodlok on Prismatic High Seer's Boots
and Keaerian on Prismatic Bow-Captain's Boots

One dead Ancient

Zeixshi`Kar
Grats Lueamien on Cloak of the Draconic Legion and Prismatic Hat of the Burning Wind
Brewce on Enveloping Chromascale Cloak
and Phartos on Prismatic Arch-Elementalist's Hat
No Screenies of this guy, people slack on the submissions.

Tjudawos the Ancient
Grats Brimir on Intricately Carved Greatsword
Sichlor on Flashing Prismatic Knucklewraps
Eteria on Prismatic Blackguard's Gauntlet's
Finelarya on Prismatic War-Bishop's Gauntlet's
and Gorduins on Prismatic Faycite
Again people slacking on Screen submissions.

We have tried our hand at Vyskudra and we think we might have the solution to this puzzle. As soon as that ice cold dwagon is down it's only a matter of a dry run and a kill before we beat Kerafym or however you spell the retarded lazy dwagon's name. I think Daska will have a stick of dynamite lit and in Kera's mouth before he realizes whats happening. Stay tuned.

Now onto SoD missions. We haven't just been doing Crystallos, that would be retarded (like sony.)
Queen Malarian, Rutro the Twisted and General Bahgresh are on rotation now, although we try not to do the General event much. It's just not worth the effort at times. We tried our hand at Field of Scale raids. I've heard that they are insanely ... easy. And they were.

The Library was a bit of a complicated mess, but with the help of the iksar tripping over there own robes, we did it.

Grats Slappah on Lizard Spine Coercer
Qanlaen on Council's Mantle
and Utuzeneth on Eon Woven Cloth Wristband

I took a whole bunch of pics, then I cut them and screwed them up. My bad.

later lizards

Now Field of Scale raid Kurns was available for touching. So we touched it. We touched it HARD!
Grats Rulltufs on Tower Champions Shield
Cozzs on Eon Forged Plate Vambraces
and O M G HE SPENT DKP! Jitatha on Eon Hardened Leather Gloves

With Kurns in the books we turned our attention toward the Final Confrontation! And we did just that, made it final.
Grats Keaerian on Eon Linked Chain Leggings
Keawedar on Eon Linked Chain Boots
Cozzs on Eon Forged Plate Breastplate
and Mythrill on Bridle of the Flying Imperial Sokokar

Now onto the lighter side of things which is why your actually still reading this dribble. Gnome hate: Nothing sweeter than it, except a dead ranger. WoT has it's share of the midget misfits, but sometimes they try so hard to be smart, that I think they even confuse themselves. Take a look at what Msha had to say about a new aug slot.

Clear as mud?

The conversation came up that a rival guild had somehow passed us in progression. To that we said who did what? As if we care if someone rushes through content. All it is in the end is O M G look at my epeen. Such an angry inch. But lets see the comments about epeen and how it relates to the gnome population.

My condolences to Mrs. Antwan

Take dat bitches

Of course you can't have a good game of tennis without a ball. Service!

How about the recession? How's that treating you? Jitatha has found ways to avoid this tragedy. here fishy fishy

I said heads down

Speaking of Jitatha, he's been a bit different lately. Maybe its the recession maybe not. Who know's. But one thing is for sure, he has urges like every man, and sometimes he needs those urges fulfilled!

owned

And sometimes he just gets strait down to the point.

good thing no one answered or they would be fully scorned

And to really seal the deal he gives his opion's of the life expectancy of a mage in combat!

It's ok Rariel I like ya!

Shadowbeaver got caught rushing back to the raid to be there on time! EQ isn't that serious It really gets on my nerves when guildies jump ship to the higher end guilds. But there is one thing that's worse. When Guildies change to the mobs side... he's a spy!

Could it be that the mobs have invaded Nocturnes mind as well? spy hunters!

Now Trygvve has been TRYING to lay low and not get into the front page. But it seems he just can't control himself!

nice try The Warriors have been making me wonder, what REALLY goes on in the tank channel. Do they have a wotwarrior channel with the password gaylords? Daska was interested in a new technique he had to leave raid!

Did it work?

Sometimes I really do think they are in a gay porn ring. The jealousy can really heat up! You tell me, is Tryg jealous or spot on?

ewww

Tryg proves he likes some man to man relations

a lot of things

ewwwwwwww

It's gotten so bad that Guuz has been infected!

calm down hero+ /></a>
<p>http://wot-ab.net/eqdkp_plus/data/69cd91b48274b7b468d10bd155f5452b/gallery/upload//LadiesandgentlemenTryg2_31.jpg

You need help, no seriously you need help I asked Hardabit what he thinks of the new fabled adventure raids this year.

can I quote you on that?

bold statement

I couldn't agree with you more. Nerf pallies. Since we are talking about Hardabit, let's see his few of foreplay

he might have a point

When asked how his night out with the boys were, we were greeted with a colorful conversation!

did I cross the line on that one?

Now either I'm loose as they come, or Hardabit is just well... small. You Decide, remember... he's a dwarf.

I swear he's tiny!

One good thing is when people conduct personnel hygiene. Nothing says purity like a freshly washed ass. But what happens when you trim your toe nails at the computer while waiting for raid to start?

Alcohol abuse call 911 beer down!

Now its not often, ok I've never done it, that I crack jokes about myself. But I figured 1 year of doign these I can do it.
I was having a conversation with a few guildies, and this particular conversation was with Istanora. Now these were TELLS mind you, private pm's nothing out of the ordinary, but you know they are kind of well private. After all, the P in PM is Private Message. Somethings just aren't sacred anymore

yes need to change the color

Doing this front page over the past year has led to a lot of distrust in me. I can't understand why. Still never sent the pic Alba

trust me Shaggy

Well that wraps up this edition of WoT updates, I leave you with not one but two moments of zen

:: The Day The Laughter Died

Welcome back to the Wind of Tranquility Home Page! I've been told by the masses(4 people,) that it is time for an update. But before we get to that, I must mention, read our bloody charter and the past few updates before applying to this guild. You will see a portion of what goes on posted here. If it offends you, or you do not agree with the rules we have, then please do NOT apply. But if you are a cleric or druid and want some higher level playing please apply! Daska also has told me if you are a real life female to please post a pic with cup size. But he also asks for length and width for real life males with pictures optional...

Now to the update. This update will be different. There will be no laughter, there will be no humor. Just 100% hardcore e-peen waving going on here. Last I updated we had 2 out 6 events done in MMM. Krond and Breakneck had been owned and we were trying to figure out how to stuff a gnome doctor in a bag and toss her in the river. That time came three days after I updated! Seems everytime I update we get a new guild first the next raid day and everyone (4 people,) are chanting UPDATE UPDATE! Well we sacked Brinda five times since then!

Grats Murrin, Istanora, and Sweetmamma on Jingling Alloy Loop
Raryel, Masterblackorb, and Msha on Steamwork Welder's Multitool
Badabumm and Borammar on Impromptu Body Protector
Zhaeli on Merciless Beastkin's Husk Cowl
Utuzeneth and Msha on Shimmering Cabalist's Velvet Hat
Gilgamesh and KNoke on Raging Bloodletter's Hardened Helm
And Saundra on Rootbound Auspex's Husk Cowl

Well with half the zone dead, naturally you have to press on. The E-peen must be enlarged!
We pressed on to the most colorful room in the zone. Two large elite chessboards of a rainbow nature. Kind of makes you think that Paladins made the room.

Saturday Night Fever Baby!

Well with a bit of grit and teeth and a couple (ten or so) runs at it. We drug the Prototype to the recycling bin! We have killed him a total of five times already with many more to come!

Grats Razimir, Zhaeli and Borammar on Gear-Linked Cloak
Moorelight on Tiny Tinkermusic Box-o-Matic
Finelarya, Tinyhealer and Murrin on Oil-Resistant Facemask
Gilgamesh on Reflective Gem of Communication
Hairytoes and Eteria on Kidney-Removing Autoshank
Alba and Tryg on Raging Bloodletter's Hardened Gauntlets
Utuzeneth and Msha on Shimmering Cabalist's Velvet Gloves
Rulltufs on Depraved Vanquisher's Hardened Gauntlets
Saundra on Rootbound Auspex's Husk Gloves
Hairytoes on Vengeful Cutthroat's Scaled Gauntlets
Siegfried on Righteous Crusader's Hardened Gauntlets
Lueamien on Arcane Incinerator's Velvet Gloves
And Bamsefar on Merciless Beastkin's Husk Gloves

Well thats four mobs down. And it looks like the E-peen might have gained a centimeter. Lets drudge on. There must be more mobs here to help us gain E-peen. The last two mobs in the zone is Meldrath and Bargangle. Naturally since the zone is named after him we can't exactly go to Meldrath first. This is not WoW ladies and gentlemen. We must bang our head on a mob 100 times before we get access to the next zone!
So Bargangle.. what's to say about another lame ass robot? MELT IT DOWN! So we did...four times.

Grats Jitatha, Linxye and Brewce on Studded Engineer's Workgrips
Raryel, Torgrimsbane, and Msha on Intricate Engineer's Locket
Daska and Hardabit on Hydraulic Crushblade
Zhaeli on Auto-Aiming Steamcoiled Recurvinator
Trggve, Alba and Docoe on Raging Bloodletter's Hardened Greaves
Elteria on Vengeful Cutthroat's Scaled Leggings
Torgrimsbane and Masterblackorb on Putrid Corrupter's Velvet Pantaloons
Razimir on Merciless Beastkin's Husk Leggings
And Takkin on Relentless Hunter's Scaled Leggings

OMG ladies and gentlemen its growing! Oh the emense size of it all! MORE MORE MORE! What's left? THERE HAS TO BE SOMETHING! And there is... Another midget in a tin can. Oh wait there is a twist! He's a necro! Oh he ressurrected a few mobs that we can tank and spank? Well the whole event is a bit more then that. But yeah tank n spank for about 90 minutes. Poor healers. Hope they got a cup under the desk. Now they know how the enchanters felt back in Planes of Power when we were doing the Rathe Counsil. So we crushed another can of gnome soup. Four Times.

Grats Nocturne, Sichlor and Elteria on Gnomish Engineer's Gearloop
Bardish on Hydraulic Hammer of Smashing
Istanora, Kaarkfu, and Bamsefar on Prismatic Faycite
Daska and Fairborn on Gearlock Steel Curvebow
Goldax on Self-Retracting Gearplate Mk. III
Sweetmamma on Blastertron Mechano-Pylon Mk. IV
Finelarya and Tenalina on Benevolent Lifegiver's Hardened Breastplate
Rulltufs on Depraved Vanquisher's Hardened Breastplate
Saundra on Rootbound Auspex's Husk Tunic
Masterblack orb on Putrid Corrupter's Velvet Robe
And Wenamcea on Righteous Crusader's Hardened Breastplate

Proud & So glorious

So we have now gained access to Crystallos. End Zone 14. It will be a few more weeks before we can properly raid Crystallos. But I'd like to personnally thank all the uber guilds who cried, bitched and complained about only 6 drops per Meldrath kill. As we reap the reward of getting 12 per now. So with 4 kills, 12 drops per kill, and some gnome math that gives us 48 flagged for Crystallos. Just another month of farming and we start on some proper fantasy bosses! Final tally, we started off with baby gnome E-peen. Now we have baby ogre E-peen.

But now for the lighter side of things.
Sony picks a person or guild to "highlight them." For some ungodly reason, I say act of desperation, they picked us. Then again it might be because Jitatha was the only one to respond!
SELL OUT!

Torgrimsbane: Protector of the sleeping!
OWNED

He doesn't mind getting down in dirty or getting knee deep in the ...
umm yeah

I'd like to introduce someone to you guys. Someone who has "Shocked" me. I thought Yllandra was an innocent little gnome. Evil indeed as she is a Necro but never in my wildest dreams did I imagine this stuff!First she acts like that movie Exorcism of Emily Rose ..
is this even possible?

Then she wants some skin ...
Offer is still valid

Of course we can't have an update without mentioning gnomes! What happens if you agro Meldrath ahead of schedule?
with a steel toe boot

I didn't even know they had magazines like this!
tiny tata's looks over her shoulder seductively

Daska wants a new armor slot in game!
Say hello to my lucky charm

Hardabit can't control hisself when he hears the word twins!
hamana hamana hamana

Since we Are talkign about hardabit. Pallies again admitting they are GAY
Heya big boy

What is an update without mentioning Tryggve.
He has taught us many things over the years, and the lessons continue. Today's lesson. Proper Mez Breaking
Get ER DONE!
He also can't control himself when an Ogre touches him
Me lub you long time
He also teaches us, that it is always best to introduce yourself
we met last night right?

Finally, we reach the moment of Zen today folks. We in WoT think education is the most important thing there is out there. Some people.. apparently not so...
Revenge or Stupidity?

:: Gnolls, Minotaurs, and Cockrockets.....OH MY!

Happy New Years everyone and welcome back to the Wind of Tranquility website!
2009 Is starting to shape up to be an exciting year! Lots of Goals getting set! Mobs already getting owned! So with all that I'd like to give my prediction of the WoT status by years end. I see Wind of Tranquility having Meldrath dead by April. Starting Raids in Crystallos by July, and almost into Korafax by the time the 16th expansion is released!
But enough of that, Let's welcome some new Lunatics to the WoT Family!

Welcome to Keawedar & Ayochak! Wear the straightjacket with pride!

Last update I mentioned we got Queen Malarian down to 34%! Not bad for a bunch of people who raid three days a week.Well a little persistance on our part and right around the end of Decemeber WoT got an Early Xmas present! We squashed the bug juice out of the queen and took all the loots!

Grats Takkin on Bile Etched Ritual Dagger
Shadowbeaver on Malarian Egg Sack
Qanlaen & Tenalina on Polished Tsetsian Thorax
Rulltufs on Malarian Flesh Girdle
Saundra on Knotted Plague Strand Choker
Tyanniea on Decaying Ritual Totem
And Lueamien & Shadowbeaver on Eye of Putrid Sight

Now in addition to Queen Malarian, we tried a few times till we figured it out the event in Blackburrow. Rottrued the Twisted. This looks like what would happen to a gnoll if you gre him, painted him black, and forced him to do powder through a straw. We brought in the Vet and had that puppy put down!

Bye Bye Old Yellar!

Grats Jitatha on Moonstone Compass
Finelarya, Utuzeneth & Rodlok on Wrext Mal Mundungu Signet Ring
Xatranaz on Rottrued's Spaulders
Weawen on Rottrueds Backup Sticker
Docoe on Rottrued Containment Ring
Tanize on Rottrued's Enforcer
And Rodlok on Rottrued Training Spur

So with not much effort WoT has already beat Tier one of Seeds of Destruction, The Oceangreen Theme.

We might have to look at the Bloody Kithikor Theme and try out Bahgresh and see how we do there!

So as some of you know we have been plowing and blasting the Steamfactory heavily to get everyone Access to Meldrath's Mansion. Our first raid into MMM was on the 4th of January. Who would've thought that within two raiding days we actually rung our hands around Breakneck's neck and broke it!

Dead Mino or Cockrocket?

Grats Yllandra on Cruel Mechanic's Shawl
Razimir on BL Merciless Beastkin's Husk Wristguard
Gorduins on Prophetic Seer's Scaled Wristguard
Hardabit on Gyroscopic Combat Assistant MK. 1 and Steamgineers Trinket of Station

Now we moved on to try his little brother Krond. We found him nestled away in his bed having wet dreams about female minotaurs with High Elf boobs! So we sent the rogues in, and killed him in his sleep. Do you know how hard it is to castrate a Minotaur without him waking up? So we put him in the Guilotine as he was reaching for a Fine Steel Spear!

Take Dat BitZ!

Grats Utuzeneth on Steamwork Engineers Waistband
Gillgamesh on Greasy Steam-Pauldrons
Wenamcea on Righteous Crusader's Hardened Vambraces
And Kaarkfu on Husk Armwraps of the Wheeling Fist

We tried the good Doctor Brinda at the end of the last raid, but it was not so memorable. We will see if we can stuff that gnome in a bag and toss it in the river sooner or later!

Now onto the lighter side of things....

New Year, New Look, Same Sieg
Baaaaa Runnnnn

Tryg tells us about the new Celine Dion Song
I think I'm gonna be sick

Sanani Showing why Paladins are still gay...
The paladins would like a word with you
Seriously they do

We had an idea that Meaty was gay, but he and Daska confirmed it!
all you bud
LET GO!

Since we are talking about Meaty he has acheived his EQ Goals!
over acheiver

Cozz tried to have an alt.. but didn't last long.
Rangacide!

Suresap has come out of the closet
Owned

And they wonder why we make fun of them....
Okies who didn't laugh?

Jitatha holds nothing back on his plans of Gnomicide
Hey at least you know where you stand

Jit has the same respect for Bards
We hear you and obey!

Speaking of Bard Hate. Ever seen the game own a bard proper like?
OWNED

Saundra is a big boy now
Pullups FTW!

Since we are talking about Saundra, he was trying to get raid instructions then Fulir joined in... wtf is up with wizzies..
Stay in the closet

Watch how a casual conversation about music can quickly turn into you getting owned
you just got owned

Bamsefar has let us in on a little secret. Whenever his mouse runs out of batteries he knows where to look!
hope you replaced those dildo bats

Jelli still has work to do
keep working

What do you get when a Troll has sex with a dwarf?
COCKROCKET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hardabit has gone soft. He use to be a stout dwarf who left his wraith of judgement on all he opposed, but now..
Tya is more manly

I knew raid leading and keeping track of dkp was a dirty business... but this is sick
I know he meant a raid dump

We have some new canidates for hall of famers this year. Amadicia and Peppar ended up in about 75 of my 150 screenshots I'll let you be the judge!

These days it's easy to find out who messed up on the raid. But Amadicia wishes differently...
It's only funny when its not you

Nerf Clerics
don't worry Meaty we know you suck

Amadicia got a new cat. I'll let you decide who's the owner and who is the ownee
Thats cat for clean the fuckin box asshole!
Train the cat, not yourself

Peppar is a young Berzerker we have in WoT,but then he shares with us he's connectivity issues. Experienced players know what that means..
gotta hit pause on Gay Albino Dwarf Porn bud

He definately has potential to take over for Tryggve this year
Has the reputation already

So another update down and we are stoked. Until next time I leave you with this moment of Zen

Ever seen the World Submarine Racing Championships? Here is a quick glance of what you might see!
WTF did you expect to see?

:: The Burried Sea and Serpents Spine Complete!

Have you have been cheated? I mean really cut short from achieving a goal because the server went down?
That is how we in Wind of Tranquility felt right before the Seeds of Destruction release. Cheated. 100% Hard core, XXX cheated with a horny troll behind us. On our first attempt of the Two Gods, we got the Two Lovers down to 30% before we realized a small hole in our game plan which in EQ terms normally means a wipe. We readjusted the strategy, rezzed the dead, and started rebuffing. Then we got a fun serverwide message.

SERVERS COMING DOWN IN 20 MINUTES!

Pardon my french, but screw you sony! That was our last raiding day before the release of Seeds of Destruction. All hopes of finishing the 13th expansion, The Buried Sea, by launch were dosed by Sony's emergency patch to fix a non working tradeskill combine. (I'm not really sure what it was that was an emergency.) Also add into all of this, that we are trying to progress forward into MMM. With only one mob left to do. Big Bynn I. He was bugged so much, that he was casting his ae every second on us. Umm working as intended? I think not!

So fast forward two weeks. We have a few freaks in guild who have taken the bait and "dinged" 85. Congratulations to all of you. Some freak named Khur on the Cazic Thule server dinged 85 in like 13 hours. Congratulations dude! Here's your straitjacket and a bottle of lotion to put on your sore ass.

But that all aside we have worked hard on stuff, raided more stuff, and killed even more stuff. But let's get back to that cheated feeling.
Yup you guessed it, Two Gods are sleeping with the fishes.

SUCK IT!

Amazingly enough we got Events 1 - 5 done on a Sunday and then got Commodus done on first go giving us a solid two hours to kill them, which wasnt needed.
For the lore buffs out there, here is a bit that was said post mortem. I'm not sure what it says but sure theres a you rock, and uh suck it attached to the bottom.

Blah Blah Blah. You whooped my ass!

Grats Xatranaz on Dark Runed Belt
Istanora on Cloak of the Sun God
Nocturne on Scimitar of the damned
and Wenamcea on Blade of Pure Light

Proud & So Glorious

We also went back to Ashengate North before release and revisited our old nemesis Lethar 2.0. He's big, he's ugly and now he's dead!

Ding expansion 12 complete!

Grats Icyen on Spked Bracelet of the Betrayer
Vannay on Embroided wool Band of Poetry
Shadowbeaver on Serpent's Essence
Badabumm on Antathus' Warfire Breastplate
And Howeii on Mysaphar's Silvergfanged Leggings

Now let's get back to that Big Bynn I guy. Remember he was casting the ae so fricking much that it was unbeatable. Amazingly enough, Sony fixed it.

I WAS IN SHOCK!

So we wondered back into his lair, gave the marching order and blamm! We pulled the plug on that dead dragon so fast! I didn't know what was going on!

I have no pics of this but you can droll on the lewts!

Grats Suresap and Icyen on Ancient Scaled Wristguard
Daska on Ancient Hardened Bracer
Ardbeg on Ancient Velvet Slippers
Jitatha and Hairytoes on Coilstream Mechanomantle
and Rulltufs and Peppar on Steam-Powered Disc of Command

So we will be farming the piss out of him, the mino and the other 3 idiots in steamfactory till we are sick of it!

But thats not all ladies and gentlemen! We took a poke at a raid we never tried before. Bloodmoon Keep 3. Interestingly enough I wasn't there! I was keeping my wife busy. But they said it was a hardcore battle and um well yeah they killed it.

Grats Istanora on Rakno's Lost Fang
Brimir on Bloodied Skull Crusher
Xatranaz on Ring of the Ripping Claw
Weawen on Relentless Hunter's Scaled Wristguard
And Gorduins on Prophetic Seer's Scaled Wristguard

So it has been an action packed month for Wind of Tranquility. But what is really going on behind the scenes. Let's go to the director's cut!

Meaty is a friendly kind of tank. And he is always there to welcome our new trialists. Look how well mannered he is when the newest bard recruit was on the raid!
welcome to the guild Bardish

I always thought it was hard being an Enchanter. But I never realized how hard until i paid attention!
Poor Enchanters
Hell even Jitatha was in on the act!
YOU ARE NOT A TANK!

I had better be careful pointing out Jitatha's shortcomings! Lookw what happened to Gormm when he was disrescptecful!
bow to me faithfully!

Gnomes are always a point of interest. Read a couple of quotes from our crazy little men, behind the scenes!
Never say shit around me
Glutton for punishment?

Five dollar will make you hollar!

It's hard to be a troll. But to think that someone actually wants to be a gnome permanantly. I almost called the looney wagon!
I wanna be a football!
busted

Since we are talking about Pepper the Berserker. There is a saying that I am my own worst critic. Peppar takes that moto and runs with it!
At least he's an honest gnome

Some of our raids have gotten really intense. How intense you may ask? Let's ask Shadowbeaver!

Nailin Palin FTW!

Can't talk about porn and not mention Siegfried! Where is our Scottsman this month?
Baaaaa

Maybe he was in Wales and York checking out the competition.
Operation Uncharted Territory is a failure

Or just meeting up with the wrong crowd. All I have to say is how do you know this?
HOW DO YOU KNOW????

Cozz, one of our Iksar Shadowknights decided to buy the AA forage. Little did he know the repricutions of doing so!
My name is Leezard... ON A STICK!

Tryggve tells us how he feels about Kid Rock.
No he just sucks Tryg

Speaking of Tryggve, he was 100% certain he wouldn't make the update. Picture if you will ladies and gentlemen. A squating Ogre, an unwilling halfling, and a horny barbarian standing watch.
thats some hot shit there

Reading is a plus. what happen's when you make a false run at a raid mob, and the raid is still buffing? For the answer ask Badabumm.
honorable dorf

Nocturne is easily amused by well anything. To include peeing her pants!
Golden Shower

I'm starting to realize that our Zerker community has issues. Listen to Brimir and Hobbitslayer.
GIRLFRIEND

SUCK IT!' /></a>
<p>Then came the threat about posting that on the website.
<br><img src=

Can't have an update without a ranger quote. I was looking in the closet for that perfect quote. Then Takin just came out of it!

Ewww

Now ladies and gentlemen the moment you have all been waiting for the moment of zen. A little background info. AB our server is home to some of THE best guilds in EQ history. Not people known for following the others like lemmings, but being trendsetters. Server firsts and serverwide firsts to be exact. Well as of the time we tried Queen Malarian only 12 others had beaten it serverwide. We're finally amoung the elite erm uh top 30 or something.

Grats Guys we rock!
Not bad for a raid average of 82. No doubt she will die with a full powered raid! Until next time!

:: Let's turn the heat up!

Welcome back Wotaholics! Tons of stuff has been happening in WoT land.New Guild Firsts, new loot and New members! Let's talk about the important things first then get down to the mobs and loots that you came to see.

Welcome to our newest members: Tinyhealer, Gormm, and leleane! Remember its a straitjacket. Not a sextoy!

So first up wehre to start. There was 3 guild firsts since last update. After crashing around in Soltaris a bit gearing up from Sisters to Irissa we decided to try our hands on some of the begging raids in SoF and boy were they surprised to see us so soon!First mob we encountered was the Mining Behemoth in the Steam Factory. WE convinced one of our warriors to run in and test the waters. 1 second later we drug him back and rezzed. So with an even sicker sence of humor, Jitatha called the charge. We melted down the pile of metal to a scrap heap!

Xatranaz Goldax and Cozzs on Pneumatic Powerblade
Saundra and Sichlor on Ancient Husk Armwraps
Linxye on Ancient Husk Tunic
Keaerian on Ancient Scaled Sleeves
Phartos on Winged Gem of command

After this we decided to turn our attention on Chief Mechanic Clankwrench. Interesting, twisted script. Imagine an AFK ranger with autofire on. But each bit of damage increases the next ae to hit. Gets even funnier with 4 afk wizzies, 5 rangers and 10 beasts! But Thanks to voice chat we yelled and screamed and pulled out the win!

Dead Robot

Grats Scooch on Benevolent Menders Mantle
Raryle on Metallic Spark-Shawl
Tenalina on Ancient Hardened Breastplate
Jakol on Power Infused Steamcleaver
Brimir on Industrial Tinkered Drillbore
Yllandra on Ancient Velvet Pantaloons
Weawen on Ancient Scaled Leggings
and Linxye on Ancient Husk Leggings

We tried our Teeth on Spindlecrank, but we were too tired to do much, but 69% is not a bad attempt in my opinion for a dry run!

But our biggest success since last update has to be Commodus,Solar Construct!
This big ugly red beast is the Jelvin event from CoA on crack. Imgaine blancing 4 mobs and one lifetaps the other for help. Now the further they are out of balance the harder they hit. And when I mean out of balance its more then 5% health. They lifetap for 10% of the others health. Now once you get it down to half way, the sweat pouring down your face. Your thinking man this can't get any worse! WRONG! Commodus tosses you another 4 mobs to "have fun" with. So now you got 8 mobs, thats 8 tanks tanking. 7 Clerics swearing, 6 rogues a poking. 5 Frickin adds! ok didn't mean to go into a christmas song there. There are actually 30 adds. But hey besides the enchanters who's counting? So we killed these 8 frickin things and Commodus starts to act like he's some type of badass and comes down to tickle our warriors. 2 minuts later we got this.

Buckets of water was all that was needed

boom

Grats Qanlaen on Bulwark of the Firebringer
Ardbeg on Enchanted Firethrower of Speed
Loladene on Tainted Energeiac Plate Greaves
Balogh on Shrouded Energeiac Chain Leggings
Finelarya and Saundra on A Brightly Glowing Combine Signet Ring

Now for the stuff that keeps everyone laughing, except Tryggve. Hey I know... Let's start out with a Tryggve quote!
We all know that Tryggve has issues. LOTS of issues. After starting the Commodus script that we had to abort due to a failure in balance. This is his Response to it all.

this is so off the wall bizare that I can't even comment

The rogues have set the standard for beastlords. Use wolf illusion and they refuse to drag you till last, or was this a clever way for the Beastlords to get some action? I'll let you decide!

Touch me in the no no place please

We have some smartasses in the guild. 2 weeks ago my Beautiful Logitech G5 mouse died. I was looking for a new one, which I settled for the Steelseries IKARI mouse. 3200 DPI you can't complain about. But before finding that mouse I asked the guild for suggestions. This is the response I got!

You guys suck

Before defeating Commodus last Thursday we started the zone in and move to him. To start clearing the trash. But Linxye had other plans, he's been secretly planning a main change to ranger!

Do you bind here often?

Now that voice chat has gone live, all you perverst have probably discovered with HORROR the people you are cybering are not the hot 36-24-36 blonde babes you had hoped them to be. Actually they aren't Jena but Jens...

now go wash your hands and throw up

I've always thought that Jitatha is the most patient guy in the world. After all I've been in guild 3 years and he's been leading them the whole way! But now I know the he's been doing drugs to cope!

drugs are bad mkay?

I have always thought that there are other people from other servers who read our guild boards. But I wasn't sure. Actually I thought the only one's reading it is our guildies and future apps. Boy was I wrong. I got fans on the FV server!

thanks

He then started to talk shit about rangers which is always a plus

Fear me

To add to this, he realized that I am a desperate sort and I need as much stuff for front page updates as I can get. Needless to say. The ransom wasn't paid.

Where's my money bitch?

Daska was thinking about a sex change and discussed the pro's and con's of this with Jitatha. Needless to say, Jit shared with the guild some of Daska's concerns and worries. Hey we're a family guild thats what family does right?

WTF!

Now your moment of Zen!

The trolls in our guild our turning soft. Some are turning gay. And I'm not talking that dictionary "happy" definition of gay. I'm talking 100% hardcore in the backside gay! I'll let you be the judge of that.

he could've raped you

you scare me. Holy paladin my ass

the whole planet has gone crazy

I appologize for no gnome humor this update, but they were in the middle of the above troll sandwich. And I think I heard the trolls saying something about gnome, perfect size, and butt plug.

:: Welcome to the Ultra Beatdown
Doing the front page of an extremely talented guild like Wind of Tranquility is a double edged sword. On one hand you get to tell the world about the guild firsts, make fun of people, and totally misquote the shit out of anything they say so that its twisted to your own sick purposes. Then on the other hand it sucks. I say it sucks as every single time I update this bloody thing within a 72 moments time they beat something new and chant update. Well this time it didn't take them 72 hours. It took them 6 hours after I updated! So I've got a little guild first of my own for them! Update done within 1 week's time!

But First let's Welcome our Newest Member Sweetmamma! Wear the tag with pride!

First target that we hit was Astire the Lunar moon. He is part of The Captured Portal Script. We had a rough run on him last week, but even with a rough run, we still got him to 21% before we called the retreat order. This time it wasn't so pretty for him. Those who haven't done him, its all a matter of what effect and what adds do you want to deal with. There is no 1 perfect strat. Which makes him a unique script. After some tugging and screaming and kiting and more screaming we pulled out the win, even with our local bard getting confused and having a deathwish. Wrong dog Pars!

Grats Tryggve on Tainted Moonstone Shard
Finelarya and Saundra on A Glowign Combine Signet Ring
Knikob on Sanguine Energeiac Plate Helm
Aristot on Phased Energeiac Silk Hat
and Finelarya on Amice of Wurine Regeneration

So with a full head of steam, we rebuffed, and walked over to start learning the strat for Portal to Dreadspire. Anyone who's done Queen Sendaii for Demiplane access. Think about her but on steroids. 15k AE dot, clones, adds. Damn where is Doog when you need him! For those who don't know Doog set the guild all time record of deaths on a single event against Queen Sendaii. Lets just say there was more dead shaman corpses then dead Spider corpses.
We started the script on the first go and figured out what the 24 adds up top were about and did some stuff with Irissa to see what she was like. We aborted at 71% to regroup. I gotta say, there was sometimes I thought man we just wiped! Twice I thought that. But somehow, we pulled the W out of our elusive back pockets and slaughtered the frickin thing. To quote Jit. I HATE SPIDER EVENTS!

Jitatha, Guardian of the Lewts!

Nuff Said

Grats Hairytoes on Venomous Fang of the Seer
Suresap on Transient Bow of Solar Winds
Alba and Jakol on Rugged Energeiac Plate Vambraces

To my guild I have only 1 thing to say!

Except for gnomes

Commodus is next up and we should lay him to waste in no time guys!

Now a few quotes that can't go anywhere else.
What happens when you combine a married soldier in Iraq, and a mage rod. just a few more months till your home, don't wear it out

Shadowbeaver has proven that fact that masturbation will not make you go blind! tried and tested. SB seal of approval!

Now for the last bit of this quick update. Yes I know tryg didn't make the update, but he got a loot so still in the update. But picture this if you will. I am busy summoning throwing stones for ranged events.
just a little stone thats all

Then I have this ranger wanna be Zerker ask me a question.... As if I wouldn't post this on the front page. signed, sealed, delivered, Owned!

he who has editorial power has all the power

One last thing I must say before closing this update. Today 26 August 2008, is a severly significant day. As today we receive with great honor, the fourth Opus from the ultra talented britains, Dragonforce!
And We will Live For Always Evermore!

Now if you excuse me I'm going to the record store!

:: Turn on the night!

Man what a hot summer we are having, Olympic's are going on, barbeque on the beachs. Everything you need to go outside. But that hasn't stopped Wind of Tranquility from turning up the heat! We have been regularly clearing out Frostcrypt and Ashengate with the exception of Lethar 2, and Octa the Collector is always slapped around. But to be honest pulling out the tractors is fun, to get all in your guild that needed upgrade, but you need to throw in some new scripts from time to time. We did just that. Back in February we touch on a raid encounter in the new expansion which at that time was a bit tough for us. So we let it be and focused on progression. Well we took a journey back to the fanged moon to give it a go. My how we have improved. We pulled out the bang bus, dropped the boneshard brothers in it and slapped them back to Florida!

down with the ceremony
die doggy die
chest heaven

Grats Suresap on Steel-Welded Ringmail coat
Ardbeg on Steel-Threaded Satin Pantaloons
Fairborn on Shroud of the Moonlight Curse
Rulltufs on Ticka, Greatblade of the Ravager
Shadowbeaver on Spell: Bond of the Blackwater Rk. III
And Saundra on Spell: Torrid Sunray Rk. III

Beating that task unlocks the next task called Crazok's Throne. Some of the mobs in this event have some amazing AE's. The aura's are killer as well. Relatively strait to the point Task. Kill 5 guys. Seems Simple Right? Let me show you what was said after the first accidental pull of 2 of the mobs at the same time

ranger humility
I'm still tryign to find mine

So we regrouped. Gathered the forces, buffed and took them on 1 by 1. Slowly we widdled all 5 namers down.

Dead Doggy
face down assup

Grats Razimir on Lunar Horns
Tryggve on Bloodrime Pauldrons
Utuzeneth on Steel-Threaded Satin Sleeves
Zhaelli on Steel-Studded Leather Armwraps
Loladene on Spell: Bond of the Blackwater Rk. III
And Jaokol on Tome of Armor of Decorum Rk. III

Completing that event unlocks Raid 3. Ralkor's Crystals. We never went on to do that, as we had a bigger fish to fry. Enter SOLTARIS!
I called it back in January. I said we would be in Soltaris before Christmas, but damn I didn't think we would be getting close to finishing before Christmas. Here we are 11 days since stepping foot into Soltaris, and we have the first 3 events done, and we ALMOST got the 4th event down. Was a fun wipe at 21% left of Astire.

Now event 1 is the Sisters. Anyone who's done Demiplane knows the boringness that is Althea, Brenda and the other harlot. This one can be completed within 10 minutes. Simple process. Kill mobs, hand in there weapons, watch the girls play with each other then see who's left, and slap her silly. We've done it 2 times already!

Grats Docoe on Polished Fang-Guard
Borammar and Cozzs on Bloodstaind Ak-Daal Blade
Valkarie on Althea's Black Pearl Choker
Jitatha on Feral Energeiac Leather Wristguard
tryggve on Rugged Energeiac Plate Bracer
Grindcorex on Singing Energeiac Plate Bracer
and Amadicia on Pristine energeiac Plate Bracer

Now the second event is a bit interesting. Deadly Swarm as its so apply named. Let me show you a comment after realizing what happens when you accidentally trigger the ogre and 1 minute 50 seconds has gone by.

we screwed

But we called in the cleaning lady to clean up the shit and we went back to work. A bunch of mezzing, a bunch of kiting, and a bunch of dps later and Aprosis was dead.

Grats Lenothx on Blade of the Cursed
Raryel on Spike Covered Loop
Loladene on Lochmaul Band
Rulltufs on Buckler of Corruption
Alba on Rugged energeiac Plate Gauntlets
Finelarya, Saundra, Linxye and Phartos on A Corrupted Drop of Focused Sunlight

The third event is extremely tank and healing heavy event. In the end of the event your killing 16 different mobs. This event was a bit confusing so some Cozzs put it in a simpler way so that others can easily understand.

Dude!?!?!?!
clear as mud

With chaos running amok, we pulled out the W.

Grats Xatranaz on Great Axe of Twin Flames
Loladene on Smouldering Faceguard of the Fallen
Cozzs on Tainted Energeiac Plate Boots
and Colaneil on Pristine Energeiac Plate Boots

3 down 4 to go!

I See us killing Event 4 in the extreme near future, and possibly moving up to as high as 2 gods before November. Lethar 2.0 definately has his days numbered, with our last attempt dropping him down to 37%. Just fine tuning and patience now! Good things for WoT to come. Welcome our newest members to the guild!

Howeii
Scooch

Now to the fun stuff.

Pallies. I thought you were knights as well. One seems to be confused and is crying like a healer!

People in our guild are sick. No not like laying in bed, thermometer in your mouth sick. I'm talking 100% corrupted in the head. Yes I fall into that category but thats besides the point
umm dude
is this a serious question?
umm wtf?

Ever been a tank waiting for that heal to land? Then you die? Ever wonder way?
I'd rather not crit at all

The boys in the tank channel keep getting distracted and for prolonged AFK's during raids. I wonder what it could be?

I'm a bit concerned we might have an Sexual harassment clause on our hands! You can talk about her cute butt, you can droll over her boobsl. But don't call her a man!
RUUUUUUNNNNN

I for one would never insult a wizzie. Pure mana casting DPS. What more do you want?

And of course last but not least, we can't have an update without Tryg! Whats to say this time you wonder? All I can say, is if your at Tryg's house and he offers you a seat. Ask for a towel...
I think I'm gonna be sick

Now for the moment of zen. As promised Wena in a cheerleading outfit! Look at that come hither look she's giving us!

:: I Think I Saw A Stray Foot!

I've been lazy lately (yeah I know you wanna know new stuff) and haven't put up an update. So I figured I'm sitting here at home, thumb up my ass, might as well.
Don't let my laziness distract ya from the truth, WoT has not been stagnant. We have been Plowing away at TSS like its no Tomorrow. Hell even got Lethar 2.0 under 60%!

Soon bitch!

But before we get on to the update a short welcome to our newest Members: Lenothx, Shadowcaster, Goldax, Grindcorex, Kaeerian, Memluil and some ranger, oh yeah Brimir....
Wear your tag with pride!

We have had some heavy focus on Frostcrypt Raid 2.
FC2 is a great instance, for the most part.
The first event is an aug event called, The Sleepless Guard. I wasn't here for our first killing of him, but basically some idiot sits on top of his coffin (gave us less distance to drag him to bury), and spawns Gizmo and all the other gremlins from the stupid 80's movie. Only he forgot to give poor Gizmo some HP!

Grats Zhaeli on Mossy Tundra Stone
Hairytoes on Iridescent Pearl of Icy Precision
Mythrill on Frost-Etched Ruby of Vitality
and Balogh on Etched Obsidian Shard

Moving on to Event 2, called Wulfnor the Gladiator. We pull some giant to the corner, gank him hard, slap his buddies for cheering him on and play with his pets. Sound like fun? Not really an impressive fight, but Farmable.

Grats Bouillou and Brimir on A Timeworn Glove Mold
Saundra and Masterblackorb on Riven Krithgor Battle Shield
Borahx on A Timeworn Skullcap Mold
Suresap and Antwan on Silver-Wrapped Turquoise Earring
Valkarie and Broph on Carved Blood Ice Choker
Badabumm on A Timeworn Bracer Mold
Bamsefar on Brumal Fists of Whirling Sleet
Badabumm and Msha on A Timerworn Boot Mold
Badabumm on A Timeworn Armguard Mold
Tenalina on Serpent's Essence
and Gakania on Frost-Carved Granite Statue

Now Event 3 is Fridleif, Master Warcraft. This event is rather simplistic. Gank him hard, as Jit would say, nothing more to it then that, oh and the billion adds.

corpse target

All we could find after the nukes finished landing was a single left foot....

HELP! I FOUND A FOOT!

Grats Shadowbeaver, Vannay and Colaneil on A Timerworn Boot Mold
Slappah, Saundra and Bouillou on A Timeworn Armguard Mold
Wenamcea and Hardabit on Ice Enameled Gorget of Battle
Hermonie and Bouillou on Scorched Froststeel Ring
Utuzeneth and Eira on A Timeworn Bracer Mold
Weawen and Badabumm on Slashed Leather Belt of Frostbite
Daska and Tryggve on Jagged Bone-Handled Ice Reaver
and Docoe on Serpent's Essence

Moving on to Event 4.Harfange the Black. It takes a bit getting use to, but eventually it just "clicks."

corpse target

Again all we could find is a foot, wtf is with these freaky Giants!

HELP! I Found ANOTHER FOOT!

Grats Docoe, Rodlok, and Guuz on Serpent's Essence
Alba and Tanize on A Timeworn Armguard Mold
Angely on A Timeworn Skullcap Mold
Slappah on Worn Iron Rallosian relic
Fairborn on Blood-Infused Iron Stud
Varagaz and Bouillou on A Timeworn Bracer Mold
Alba on A Timerworn Boot Mold
Slappah on Algid Bag of Frozen Tears
Hardabit and Goldax on Engraved Froststeel Visor
Daska on A Timeworn Glove Mold
and Brimir and Lord Rott on Shattered Mask of Ancestral Rage

Last but definately not least is Beltron the Shade King, owner of all that is FC, bugged to all holy hell after the last 3 patches SO much that you can't take him down 1%..... Sony you suck.
But the one time we did beat him we got some stuff...

corpse target

And of course the mandatory foot shot....

wtf is there only feet around here?

Grats Xatranaz on Serpent's Essence
Docoe on A Timeworn leggings Mold
Saundra on A Timeworn Chestguard Mold
Wenamcea on Ancient Royal Froststeel Bracer
And Hardabit on Fjorlask, War Maul of Shadows

Wind of Tranquility Orgy in Beltron's Room

Now on to some Funny stuff

Where to start when it comes to the Funny stuff, a lot of Hilarious shit has happened. I know, it's never old, lets start with Rangers!

Ranger Hate At its Best!
Did we by the way?

They may call them Berzerkers, but I call them Rangers useing 2h weapons. Both wear Chain, both day 1 second into raid, both are just as smart as the other! And to top it all off, they allow them to be Dwarves and Ogres. `Nuff said.

You may call me Pally, but I update the front page

Ladies and Gentlemen, might I point you to exhibit b of my Zerkers are Rangers Theory. What happens when the Zerker hasn't been given his medication for the day?

Hmmm what else is there to make fun of. Oh yeah. Pallies... the goody little twoshoes holier then thou. Now I know why they have taken a Vow of Chastity. Check out how excited this pally is about a cure!

next its gonna be alterboys!

Further proof of gayness....

enough to make a Catholic Priest proud(no offense catholics)

As always we have to poke a little fun at Tryggve. Or is it he brings it on himself. He claims he's not that perverted. I'll let the jury decide!

Catholic priest flashbacks?

We have finally found someone for Tryg to hook up with!

MBO Valk needs a word with ya

Now we were discussing Mixed Martial Arts(MMA) in the guild. one of the main organizations is called the Ultimate Fighting Championships(UFC.) But as tryg was looking for new pr0n, he meant to ask Daska but asked the guild instead!

woman or a man dude what is it?

Now here is how I know Daska was in on it!

now i know you were looking at jit's balls!

So Daska, being caught, takes his revenge out on tryg

we do to

We in Wot, Pride ourselves in delivering some of the Best strats our guildies can use to beat any said encounter. In game or out of game!

During one of the Events in FC2, Xatranaz asked a simple question and got a simple answer!

my bad, lizzards don't have sex they lay eggs

Docoe was trying to figure out how to start the Lethar 2.0 event and got positive responses!

I'd try mooning him so he doesn't hurt himself ramming you

Last in this short Strategy Forum, which I will probably be yelled out for giving away our L33T strats, Fine puts our strategy in simplier terms so its EASIER to understand!

Go get them tiger!

No other guild in EQ history has a bard as dedicated as we do in Wind of Tranquility! Parsburg is currently down in Iraq. Somehow, the evil little Bard has found a way to play. But his dedication is at a small price to us in the raid.

HOLY SHIT INC!
tis only a flesh wound

pr0n Seems to always be on our guildies mind this summer. Could it be that love is in the air? Or are we sick and twisted everyday? You decide!

Shadowbeaver wants to watch some pr0n

wonder if we can find one to perform for him?
we can, hmm remember what I said about pallies?

Even when it comes to getting an epic, pr0n is on the mind!

we also helped him loose it btw

I have total control over my servents!

I swear I can control my pets honest!' /></a>
<p>Myth accuse's slappah of downloading pr0n but I think he was doing it with one hand and trying to type with the other hand...
<p><img src=

Sometimes I dissappoint myself, sometimes I disappoint my guildies, at this instance... I did both

so wtf is it for anyways?

Lately there has been a conspiracy against tanks. It seems to have tainted our mages as well...

it's a conspiracy!

After some of Sony's FUN(ok thats a bit sick considering they castrated dps classes by 80%) patches we have seen new things in FC2

hmm

I'm running out of thigns to say here guys

me too

Jit shows Daska how to use his new ball scratcher. Is Daska looking at the technique? or Jit's balls? you decide?

I think daska is meat gazing

Still out reporting our Resident halfling has found himself in some trouble. 2 Months ago he was on a light post. last month on top of a Giant's chair. This month...

sniff it

Where will he be next month? I already know! Imagine an ogre, halfing and a barbarian... /shiver

who likes family picnics? Gnomes don't

hmm Gnome kabobs

Now your moment of Zen!

Ever seen a high elf chick in a cheerleading outfit?

High elf cheerleading squad, now that is hot!

Next update you will!

:: FC1 Owned!

Welcome back to the Wind of Tranquility website. This update finds us putting on our winter jackets. Nope hell didn't freeze over.... or did it?
We have been steadily plugging away at The Serpent Spine expansion. And man has it been a ride. With the year just passing the half way mark we are killing stuff at a faster rate then we expected!

Before we get to that lets welcome our newest members: Fairborn and Eira

Undegar got slammed a few dozen times, and we had the king to finish before we could enter Froxtcrypt.
Now I really have to say. Sony you did a bang up job at making King Odeen sound like a little girl, in a pink dress, with a skinned knee.

Bitch

Grats Ardbeg on Robe of the Driving Rains,
Jitata on Everlasting Forge Coal, and
Zeneca on Gefia's Gift

After Spanking the king, if you have the flags this opens up Frostcrypt 1. An awesome expedition if you ask me. If not I still think its awesome.
You have 6 events here, 4 aug and 2 loot. First event made me think of Iron Maiden's song Can I Play with Madness with Chariots of Fire playing in the background.
All the poor Sk's, 1 unlucky healers and a rogue get the pleasure of doing sprints down to a torch light the torch, light the next torch, rinse repeat 10000000000 times! After beating this event 2 times already from 2 complete clears of the zone, the sk's area all in great shape.

Grats Finelarya on Frost-Etched Ruby of Vitality

After tha we moved onto 3 brothers. Larry, Curly and Moe. No wait Haevnar, Hufdan and Thuruld. Ok Larry, Curly and Moe sound better.
This has got to be one of the easiest bits in FC1. Beat 1 down, despawn, beat one down despawn, beat one down, Surprise we are back. Uh yeah like we expected you to run away with still 2 million HP......

Grats Hairytoes on Etched Obsidian Shard

Now event 3 is a PITA! Both times we've beaten it, it was ugly to start. There is nothing worse then seeing 15 mini Daska's Running around the raid. The High Elf Clerics were standing on the table...

Grats Ardbeg on Molded Agate Trinket

moving down to event 4, kind of put the shock in us. 1 Idiot standing on a Platform, 4 Groups of about 10 Giants at all 4 Cardinal directions. Biggest Fear was dealing with all 40 adds at once. That was not the case
Hell I don't think we even dealt with 10 adds. All blow and no go.

Grats Mythrill on Rune-Etched Granite Fragment

Lets see thats 4 aug guys done. Lets get to loot damnit!

The first real loot, or as I refer to it, Backflag mob of the crypt is Hearol The Tactician. Although interesting, he's on farm now. Slap him around he gets scared throws up some walls, beat wall down, beat him down.
Grats Angely on Runed Cold Iron Warhammer,
Bouillou on Ornate Mask of Fallen Dreams,
And the Greedy Monk Slappah on A Timerworn Gloves Mold

And last but definately not least we have the boss. Lorekeeper Grenwald. This event... SUCKS. But I like it anyways. Cue up the Chariots of Fire music again!

I'm Rick James Bitch!

yup yup

Hello TSS END GAME!

Grats Borammer on Frost Runed Blade of the Wraithguard,
Fulir on Iceweave Cloak of Blackest Night,
And again the Greedy Monk on another A Timeworn Skullcap Mold

We have beaten FC1 2 times, Just to be sure. But thats too much code for all the other stuff, and I didn't keep track last night of all the loot. Yup I'm lazy
FC2 looks to be a lot more fun then FC1!We have 5 more Scripts in FC2 plus Lethar 2.0 till WoT > TSS! It looks like I was right. We will be in Soltaris before Christmas!

Now on to the lighter side of things.

I have now found out why mez breaks are happening! There is a conspiracy!
Kill the chanters!

Rumor has it there is a new game out there for people who play Paladins!
My Little Pony has an RPG!

To further prove that male dwarf pallies prefer men...
Gay Dwarf Porn!
Do I really wanna know?
Need I say more?

Sometimes the mob being pushed around reminds us of how old we are....
Push Push Lady Lightning!

Note to guildies, IF you say soemthing totally off the wall, and I tell you don't worry, I won't put it on the website.... I lie
I lied

Last update we found our resident rogue halfling on a light pole....
reporting to you live from Valdeholm!

Zhaeli tells us her darkest secret
Amen

We are now looking for someone to buy Hardabit a new thumbdrive... his is full
pervert

Can't have an update without Tryg in it!
I don't wanna knwo

Some people think clerics can't laugh
nope

I think its they are afk
the truth

Some can't tell the difference between a necro and a wizzie
nuke, dot whats the difference?

I think Meaty and jyve has been hanging around the Pallies to long
shivers
let him have sex with 1 woman and this is how it ends up

And now for your moment of zen. The answer to the first question of the update. Did it?
yes it did 15 times over!

I had 1 Last minute submission! It even takes the cake. Now imagine your a halfling. Which means your waist high to an orc, and you zone in and find this!
MOMMY!

:: Stich in the @$$
Well a month has passed since the last update, yes we have been doing stuff, yes I'm lazy deal with it!

No more then 1 week after my last update, the members of WoT decided to try our hands at some targets that had given us trouble.

Previously Octa the Collector didn't play nice, and we had only got him down to 27%. After a good solid 4 minutes we cut off his legs and shoved them up his silk making ass! We've ganked him a few times since AB and the instance server is ALWAYS BROKEN! FIX THAT SONY!!!!!!!

Grats Gakania and Saundra on Steel-studded Leather Gloves,
Rodlok and Valkarie on Mantle of Grand Plans,
Zhaeli and Sichlor on Crushing Demolisher,
Shadowbeaver on Steel-Welded Plate Gauntlets,
Vannay on Steel-Threaded Satin Gloves,
Takenmelootz on Glittering Gem of Focus,
Hermonie on Steel-Welded Ringmail Gauntlets,
Docoe on Loop of Cruel Ingenuity

After avenging ourselves to the 8 legged tyrant we had unfinished business in Valdeholm. High Lorekeeper Undegar Dergon had proved a small challenge. But once the evidence was presented to the Wraithguard, we all made short work of him!
Grats Cozzs, Chowar, Finelarya and Knikob on the ultra common Warbound Leggings,
Shadowcross and Dunek on Icedancer,
Raryel on Udengar's Thornmesh of War,
Kuler on Loyalist Coat of Icemail,
Pentiley on Warweaver!

Now we have been keeping Sothgar down pretty regularly, and only 1 time before attempted Stitch's ambush. We literally bowled through that 15 minute kill fest opening up the way to Stitch himself! On the first go with spiders and lava flying everywhere he ended up on his back in the spread eagle position!

now serving number 54

Grats Sichlor and Kewtee on A Timeworn Skullcap Mold,
Borammar on A Timeworn Armguard Mold,
Tryggve on A Timeworn Boot Mold,
Duranolin on A Timeworn Bracer Mold,
Moorelight on A Timeworn Glove Mold and Everflame Torch of Ashengate,
Masterblackorb on Crescent Courier's Earring,
Chowar on Burned Remains of Shyleen,
Tanize on Cloak of the Scarlet Legion,
and Tryggve and Shadowcross on Slain Noble's Ring

Anyone who has gone past Ashengate West and East in progression knows you have to do them a few times in order to get enough idiots flagged for north! After flagging this idiot and a few more we tried our teeth on Ashengate Norths instance, well the few times the instance server let us into the zone. This zone had 5 events. The first one although chaotic as it may seem is actually a controlled Chaos. You have 3 waves of mobs 10, 18 then 26 who think they are bad. We slapped them had Daska teabag on 54 of them, snatched up the loot and moved on to event 2 the AUG mob!

Grats Lueamien and Aristot on A Timeworn Armguard Mold,
Balogh on A Timeworn Glove Mold,
Masterbloackorb on A Timeworn Boot Mold,
Zeneca on Cudgel of Unified Vision,
Finelarya on Fetish of Unlife,
Razimir on Band of the Wildspirits,
Zhaelli on Daggerscale Visor!

Now the shade of Veldyn is just an Aug dropper, nothing fancy same loot table as all aug droppers in Ashengate East and West. My opinion this is one of those mobs put in to give the Raid leader a break from thinking for 3 minutes or to plan the Lethar the black event.
Grats Raryel on Arcane Actuator,
Gwindar on Arcane Wavebender Prism,
Grats Yxmoerdaren on Clipped Griffon wings!

Lethar the Black. The third event in Ashengate North. What a Pain in the ass. Face this way, no that way no this way ARRRGGGHHHH! More like Snow white the gay ass Dragon asking the mirror who's the most owned dragon in Norrath!

Grats Ardbeg and Bamsefar on A Timeworn Glove Mold,
Nirtox on A Timeworn Skullcap Mold,
Tenalina on A Timeworn Armguard Mold,
Xatranaz and Rulltufs on Serpent's Essence,
Cozzs and Guuz on Scarlet Legion Command Stone,
Takenmelootz on Hoop of Elementqal Mastery,
and Guuz on Haunting Ruby Amulet!

Event 4 is Dyn'Leth, Firstborn of Lethar!
Nothing much to this event, kill some mobs, slap a drake, kite a drake, push Dyn'leth in the lava.....

Grats Raryel and Saundra on A Timeworn Bracer Mold,
Cozzs on A Timeworn Armguard Mold,
Zeneca on A Timeworn Glove Mold,
Xatranaz on Shield of Fire and Fury,
Daska on Green Dragonscale Earring,
Antwan on Darkfell Fingerbone Necklace,
and Hairytoes on the ever so fitting Belt of the Vengeful Orphan!!!

die bitz die!
We tried our teeth on Lethar's Final Stand. But with numbers dropping due to lateness of the raids, we only managed to get him to about 85%! Soon you freak of nature!

Now to the comical side of WoT.....

It's hard not to pick on people. Ecspecially the chain class. Rogues and Shaman hold up there end of the deal, but the Bezerkers and Rangers... plant a target on their backs!

The other ranger!

I hate to crack on a fellow Shadowknight, but Shadowbeaver got strait owned by the Random Number Generator!

YOU LOSE!

Paladins may be the protectors of light, shining in the darkness, but just like that idiot Jeffery Dahmer, Paladins have dark secrets too....

Don't Scare the Rangers!

I'm still trying to figure out what this was all about. But in the middle of the Undeggar raid some perverted dwarf asked a question ....

Like you'd have a shot!

Torgrimsbane has officially been removed from the buff list now ...

buffs are good mkay

Rariel the mage has become Raryel the mage. Due to incompetant GM's his character was bugged to all hell, and he couldn't complete any quests. But this makes me wonder if the character was bugged or not...

NOT THAT TOOTH!!!!!!!!!

Never does an update go bye in which Tryg doesn't make the front page. I'm beginning to wonder if he's trying????

what were the warriors doing!

Any chick looking for a single guy we have one...

Can we have a mercy screw anyone?

Jit gave us a good option to killing Shyra on an off day

here doggy doggy

don't turn your back on him!

With his love for rangers, non willingness to love tryg, Duranolin turns his love for the Sk's, I don't know about you but I'm already 2 miles ahead of him...

Ever wonder why random people die with healers in there groups?

HELP I NEED SOMEBODY HELP!

Just when you thought Fabled Season was over...

His wife was out of town!

When asked what he thought of dating a Female gnome Weawen gave us this response...

just try you might like it!

Hairytoes has finally admitted his love for an all male halfing encounter

I'm out of the closet!

To give even further evidence I presnt you our Halfing On a Stick!

Jose Jalepeno on a Steeeeeek!

We in WoT have a member currently serving with the US Army down in Iraq! Parsburg bud we salute you! We were trying to find a way to show our gratitude, give ya smile, then Daska asked why there are no boobs on the front page? So this MAY be a bit PORNOGRAFFIC but what the hell! Here is your official Boobie taunt!

shake your money maker!

Please give us more female mobs with wide open cleavage and 4 arms Sony!

Now somewhere Wenamcea had a funny idea. The other officers talked it over and they agreed!

MWUHAHAHHA

The guild response was overwhelming

I'll be over here

And already there is a mutiny!

mommy!

Last but not least .... your moment of zen

I rule!

Who said Disarm was broken?

:: The Fabled Update!
Welcome back! Man has it been a crazy Fabled month or should I say Falbed as even Sony hasn't figured out how to use Spellcheck yet. The entire month was dedicated to the golden days of pop. Running around checking what was up what wasn't and with so much competition on AB, and such a great competition. It was hard to find mobs up. Ecspecially after we raided! The greedy members of WoT(myself included) netted 196 Fabled loots on official raid days, to include 15 more loots on an unofficial Vex Thal run!

We cleared Fire to include FRO. We cleared all the Air mini's. We killed Saryn and Terris in there native zones and in Plane of Time. We killed Water mini's. But the best kills of the month by far in this SK's opinion was Rallos Zek The Warlord and Avatar of Earth, fabled versions! Lets work our way through Planar Progression!

Of course Jit Gave me his warcry!
no really screw fableds were tired of this shit!

Tier 1: Plane of Justice, Plane of Innovation, and Plane of Disease Survived WoT's wrath unscathed, where from previous reports, Terris Thule was a repeated victim. She's now in a witness protection program!

Tier 2: Plane of Storms was the only one spared our Wrath!
In Plane of Valor we slapped Aerin Dar down for trying to be a Sleeper wannabe! We netted 3 loots from PoV!
Grats to Jitatha and Takenmelootz on Fabled Valorous Quarterstaff,
Grats Bouillou on Fabled Shoulderpads of the Visionary.
With nothing else fabled in Valor we moved on along to the Crypt of Decay.

Well this use to be my most favorite event in all of PoP progression. 30 minutes of chaotic pulling and killing then a shot at my deranged god Bertoxxulous and netting us an additional 3 Fabled Loots!
Grats Tanzize and Colaneil on Fabled Radiant Mask of the Disease Lord,
Grats Mythrill on Fabled Decayed Shoes of the Plaguebringer!

We found Saryn up in her home of Torment, and we gave her and her Keeper of sorrows a true lesson in Sorrow & Torment even though she was talking Much smack!

Giving us an additional 6 Loots!
Grats Takenmelootz and Bamsefar on Fabled Band of the Adorned,
Grats Colaneil on Fabled Tormentor's Chain Collar.
Grats Rulltufs, Saundra and Ardbeg on Fabled Miserable Bauble

Now moving on to Tier 3: Agnar in the Bastion of thunder escaped but many guildie's plowed his tower bosses out of retribution for his Insolance!
However Solusek Ro along with his 5 mini's were laid to rest with an Owned by WoT Seal planted firmly on there asses netting WoT another 20 loots!

you dead we not

Jitatha even gave us a point of view about Rizlona!
You are so right dude!

Grats Docoe on Fabled Baroque Half Mask of Solusek Ro,
Grats Mythrill on The Fabled orb of the Sun,
Grats Phartos on Fabled Gauntlets of the Burning Prince!
Grats Saulessiar, Aristot and Fulir on Fabled Wand of the Firestorm

Grats Razimir and Jitatha on Fabled Rune Etched Bamboo Bo
Grats Utuzeneth and Lueamien on Fabled Flame Encased Earring
Grats Weawen on Fabled Basalt Plated Pauldrons

In Halls of Honor B, Also known as The Temple of Marr, we served him a slice of humble pie ganking his treasure horde for an additional 3 loots!
Grats Tenalina and Saundra on Fabled Claok of the Wrulons
Grats Gwindar on WoT's Second Fabled Blade of the Tempest

That only leaves us with Drunder, The Plane of Tactics left in Tier 3. Yeah we went there too! While we didn't get a shot at the 2 Elusive Twins, we did show Rallos Who's Your daddy! 3 more loots from the big man! Personally I'd like to thank the other guild in zone, who tried to help The Fabled Rallos Zek the Warlord, by trying to lag us out. You know who you are, and he appreciated the help. But we won! When in doubt bring out the aerial recon from the AC-130 Gunship!

Blame Hairytoes for the quality of this pic he took it!

Warrior Killshot! Must've been his cack!

Grats Mythrill on Fabled War Charm of Crossed Blades
Grats Meaty and Balogh on Fabled Boots of the Warmaster

Tier 4: The Elemental Planes. While Xegony toy'd with us, and we never put a blade into Cornaiv; Fenien Ro, The Avatar of earth and Every Mini boss in 3 of the 4 planes were slapped, Wrapped and are now sleeping with the fishes! Plane of Water mini's seemed to be on farm rotation from other guilds

From Plane of Water
Grats Panzir, Hardabit and Knikob on Fabled Gem Encrusted Axe

From Plane of Air
Grats Rariel, Mythrill, and Vannay on Fabled Scintillating Feather Mask
Grats Aristot, Vannay and Ardbeg on Fabled Tethered Air Cape
Grats Aalaamar, Rariel and Valkarie on Fabled Sparkling Satin Pantaloons

From Plane of Earth A Jitatha had the best strategy yet!

L33t Top Secret Strategy!

Grats Hardabit, Antwan and Vearre on Fabled Girdle of Earthen Stability
Grats Duranolin and Broph on Fabled Flowing Moss Mantle
Grats Weawen on Fabled Clay Bracers of the Golem
Grats Hardabit, Finelarya and Kaelsin on Fabled Bracers of Earthen Energy
Grats Gwindar, Utuzeneth and Lueamien on Fabled Bone Sliver Ornament
Grats Bamsefar and Gakania on Fabled Wristband of the Rathe
Grats Hermonie on Fabled Entropy Pendant
Grats Docoe, Xatranaz and Rulltufs on Fabled Earring of Living Earth
Grats Loladene, Cozzs and Rulltufs on Fabled Cloak of Flickering Flame
Grats Angely, Meilanie, Saundra, Utuzeneth, Gwindar and Borahx on Fabled Fire Marked Rune

Now Plane of Fire. This zone, hard to describe. If your raiding and got lucky no one else was there you could clean house. And that is just exactly what We did. The wizards pulled out there Brooms and we made a clean sweep. WE netted a grand total of 72 fabled loots NOT including Fenien Ro loots since last update! Grats Suresap, Loladene, Siegfried, Varagaz and Aazeroth on Fabled Fire marked Rune
Grats Linxye, Borahx, Siegfried, Finelarya, Zhaelli, Gakania, Pentiley, Hairytoes, Chowar, Suresap, Angely, Zeneca and Meilanie on Fabled Sable Shoes of Flame
Grats Gwindar, Amadicia, Moorelight, Meilanie, Thorgold, and Tenalina on Fabled Band of Elder Understanding
Grats Fulir, Rariel, Bouillou, Vannay, Aristot and Utuzeneth on Fabled Fire Crested Rune
Grats Aazeroth, Siegfried, Knikob, Pentiley, Bamsefar, Gakania, Linxye, Fanye, Tanize, Shadowbeaver, Borammar, and Panzir on Fabled Flame Idol of Ro
Grats Raandom, Hairytoes, Varagaz, Linor and Slappah on Fabled Cord of the Pyre
Grats Panzir, Duranolin and Tryggve on Fabled Necklace of Reflected Flames
Grats Utuzeneth, Rariel, Mythrill, Bouillou, Saulessiar and Lueamien on Fabled Cape of Flames
Grats Doog, Fayne and Saundra on Fabled Blackflame Sphere
Grats Razimir, Linxye and Zhaelli on Fabled Fiery Staff of Zha
Grats Bamsefar, Linxye and Zeneca on Fabled Mask of the Insightful
Grats Bamsefar, Razimir and Linxye on Fabled Phoenix Claw Talisman
Grats Bamsefar, Suresap and Saulessiar on Fabled Cloak of Combustion

Now of course we tried Fennin Ro! With Extra buckets of water we extinguished his flames! But not before Jit's Superior Strategy!

Fro ganked and reporting to the Infirmary!

call 911!
Grats Jitatha and Kaszha on Fabled Immaculate Vest of the Fire Tyrant
Grats Xatranaz on Fabled Great Mask of Flame

And last but not least we slapped around the Avatar of Earth. Now those 12 Counsilman, even though they are light blue, still hit like trains!

Number 2 or 3 on the server to kill it! Grats Hairytoes and Weawen on Fabled Sword of Primordial Power
Grats Jitatha on Fabled Earthen Bile

I was an Idiot and seemed to forget to take a picture of the Avatar's Dead Corpse.

A Special grats goes out to Loladene and Mythrill for turning Fabled Hope Stone into Fabled Secrets of the Planes
One can only hope that Sony fixes the focus on it!

Last but not Least was the Plane of Time. While Phase 1 - 3 were not fabled the gods definately were. We knocked down 2 and almost had a third, but found that Plane of Fire was a much better loot option!

From Saryn Mythrill nipped himself a pair of Fabled Gloves of the Unseen

MY EYES! Dude spend DKP!

And from Terris Thule Docoe got him the highly covetted Fabled Armguards of the Brute

Naturally with all this wonderful loot we had plenty of upgrade shots! But some just seemed to take the cake!

good god!

drugs are bad mmmkay!

bad sk badddd!

Now onto the lighter side of WoT. The part that everyone looks forward to.. No Not Jyve getting Raped by his familiar... no wait.. that was funny as hell!

I spent my AA's into Enduring breath, but someone didn't.....
Come On knik its only 12aa's slacker!

Now I don't know what started this conversation... ok thats a lie I do... we so didn't need to know that!

But it then took off....

we don't hate ya, just stop interrupting our raids!
At least put a sock on damnit!
hail santa!
And you wonder why the sheep are nervous?

Since I'm busting out Tryg, lets keep the ball rolling!
Barbarian/Gnome Love!

Now our tanks have some serious issues as you can see, but nothing could've prepared me for the next quote ...

99% of all man love a blowjob. 75% of them prefer receiving!

And remember if you go out there and start tryign that thing called real life, you can't pull a fast one on the chicks! Duranolin explains ...

Tryg you getting this?

The April Fools event, if you wanna call it that, was gay, but got an interesting comment...

Angely will not be rezzing you anytime shortly!

Seeing how it was fabled season, nothing is more fabled then the fabled Mez break by non tanks!

the bitch is back!

We here at Wind of Tranquility take drinking Seriously. We don't want anyone to get hurt, but make sure if your gonna drink, don't drink and raid!

 was just a beer ossifer!

Rumors are brutal, lets squash them please!

I am not a tramp!

now I can't let an update go by without cracking and busting out rangers!

The Perfect Ranger!

never say this at a raid!

Game, Set, Match!

now Cozzs brought a very disturbing fact to my attention!

it scares us all!

Now I'll end this massive fabled update with a word about Jyve. Jyve the bard. Minstral, Traveler, Goblin sexual pervert!

O M G your right!

you have no idea!

how many of you sicko's typed that into your browser?

have you met some dwarves lately?

but master, oh that feels good!

:: Fabled Week 1

Greetings again Everyone!

Well I was gonna wait 1 month to do another update, but seein as how my note book has filled up quickly in the last week, there was no chance of that!

It's Fabled time again in Norrath. Happy 9th Anniversary Everquest!

With Fableds come Fabled loot that distracts us from the goal of Soltaris my Christmas. But offers us Great reward at minimal risk.

But has Sony played a trick on us? This year we have Fabled Planes of Power. We also have the Fabled Xatranaz spending DKP, the Fabled misspellings of mobs in Plane of Fire, The Fabled Nerf, and the Fabled Retarded GM.

Small hint Prathun..... the game is 9 years old...nerfing all the hybrids will only put less money in the EQ machine. Not every guild is Triality with 100 wizzies in a 54 man instance and the l33t strat handed to them on a silver platter! So here is a nice message from our Raid leader in reference to your fabled Nerf....

Did he just say that?

OMG I think he did!

He did! He did say that! And he meant it!

Listen to your fanbase!

Fanboy.... your days of getting a slob are numbered!

Now onto what really matters, and what keeps you coming back for me. Leet Lewts!

Day 1 of the fables we ventured into Plane of time to see what we could and could not kill. While phase 1-3 was normal phase 4 was the fabled stuff

We took down the Fabled Saryn
yes the timer version you doubting fools!

Grats Qanlaen on Fabled Gloves of the Unseen.

We then tried our luck on Plane of Nightmare B's Terris Thule. We've killed her 2 times!

Grats Knikob, Veara, and Wenamcea on Fabled Fearsome Midnight Cloak
Grats Rulltufs and Knikob on Fabled Nightmarish Bone Ring
Grats Doog on the only Fabled Sable Lined Mantle

So we moved onto Doomfire. Plane of Fire in layman's terms, and we knocked out 4 Minis. General Reparm, Jaxoliz Dawneyes, Criare Sunmane, and Quavonis Firetail!

Grats Bamsefar, Kaszha, and Gakania on Fabled Fiery Staff of Zha
Grats Tryggve, Balogh, Varagaz and Raandom on Fabled Drape of the Agile
Grats Vannay and Saundra on Fabled Shining Crimson Shawl
Grats Shadowbeaver, Linxye, and Myosotis on Fabled Cloak of Combustion

After that was Fabled Plane of Air! Land of Xegony and the Fabled Boobie taunt! Where was Daska when you needed him! Grats Daska on his future set of twins!

We took out 3 mini's, 1 was a bit non fabled, and made an Attempt on Xegony. we gonna get you! just as soon as we have more then 2 warriors online!

We slapped the Fabled Rinturion Windblade, Elemental Masterpiece, and the FALBED, yes I spelled that right, FALBED Queen Silandra!

A Picture is worth 1000 words!

Grats Moorelight, Doog, and Gwindar on Fabled Scintillating Feather Mask
Grats kewtee, Fulir and Aristot on Fabled Sparking Satin Pantaloons
Grats Amadicia and hermione on Fabled Tethered Air Cape
Grats Aristot on Fabled Bejeweled Dagger of Summoning

and last but Certainly not least, we slid into the Hall of Marr. Now we were expecting to see a nice beefed up version of him, but with less then 6 groups pounding on his backdoor...

Grats Saundra on Fabled Blade of the Temptest
Grats Xatranaz on Fabled Cloak of the Wrulons
Grats Weawen on Fabled Bow of Contortion

So 31 loots in less then a week! Not bad for a family guild!

Welcome to our newest Members: Borahx, Thorgold and Broph! Wear the straitjacket with pride!

Now to the lighter side!

Jit holds nothing back when giving out raid instructions for those without a clue
Do you really want to hurt me?

The ever going fued between Shadowknights and Paladins!
I thought it, he said it
Game, Set, match

There is also the never ending target on Jitatha's back.
the vote is in!
OWNED!

I finally have the answer to the EVER burning question... Why do Barbarians wear Bears on their heads?
O M G!

We got proof that Aazeroth has come out of the closet
HELP MAD DORF ON ME A$$!" /></a>
<p>Now a lot of people knew there was some Glitching, and if I remember correctly some of the top tier guilds on our server are looking for monks to replace recently departed ones. So are we. Allow me to link some rot loots....
<br><img src="http://img152.imageshack.us/img152/2531/monksbannedug9.png" border="0" alt="if at first you can

Now, I knew Jitatha was a freak, but I had NO idea what he liked...
Sometimes once a month isn't enough for Jit

Now Jyve has been buggin me lately... so i caught him in his dark desires. This ladies and gentlemen is the moment you have all been waiting for! your Moment of ZEN!

Somethings are better not thought of

now get it on!

Until Next time...

:: February 2008

Welcome back! last time I left you in the WoT history channel we had finally taken down Vergalid and Beaten Deathknell.
Doing this gave us that ugly push for whats called faction. Now my advice to you is for the sake of insanity, get your factions done in advance!
Now with all the appropriate faction done with Jenray the evertard, we were allowed enough raiders into Ashengate West. Fun little zone I might add!
3 new scripts to learn and 3 new guild firsts! Ambersnout, Attendants of Sothgar and Sothgar himself rolled on over for WoT this month!

Hell of a way to start off the week!

Grats Caustic on Cinderskin Buckler, Bouillou on Burning Heart of Sothgar, Jitatha and Wenamcea on A Timerworn Armguard Mold, and Rulltufs on Serpent's Essence

Loots from Ambersnout and Sothgar's Attendants were: Grats Leleane on Clipped Griffon Wings, Finelarya and Mesmorise on Prism of Captured Enegy, and Antwan on Arcane Wavebender Prism

We wanted to start our progression into the Ashengate East last Thursday, but SOE still hasn't figured out how to patch stuff yet! So Stitch is given a small stay of execution! Also in the past month we have tried our hands at Octa The Collector ....

Almost got him!
Bit Better positioning and dps and he's ours.

And The Fanged Moon Raid

Vesthun Wolfpaw deaded
According to Jyve we are the second on the server to beat this mob (but then again please see below!)
All and all it has been a great year. Deathknell is still on farm status. Everyone is getting the Covetted Rk. III spells even though most are obsolete already.

So lets move on down to the lighter side of WoT.
The Not so Serious Family Raid guild side.

WARNING!

Some of members are 135% pervs! Let's Dive in shall we......

Let's Warm you up with the ever funny Ranger Jokes...
RANGER 1 AND 2 DOWN!

With Track how the hell do rangers get lost?
Lost Ranger 1

And in the middle of doing the mini Ur-Gorloch in Demiplane....
Lost Ranger 2

Now its always funny to make fun of Jyve.
We all do, its in the contract right after Rangers and gnomes...

A new way to get Loot don't gag

Try Speaking English! We can't figure you out! Habla Espanole?

No matter how many times you try Jyve, I am a Shadowknight I am NOT a Beastlord!

Moving right along. As most know who play MMORPG (that's Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games!), some of our guild mates are lacking in the IntImacy department...

Raandom know's the SOE Policy! DON'T SCREW YOUR GUILDMATES!

Can someone get Tryg a girlfriend please!!! www.fromrussiawithlove.com

SoME go as far as getting paid in game for cyber!!! Your husband needs to talk to you...

Now Hardabit. Silly Paladumb.

Mission Accomplished Mission Accomplished

What hard doesn't know is I already got him a few times let me dive into my screenshots... ah yes there they are..

His Opinion on the New AA advancement system! I'm only 13aa's away from it

His opinion on falling asleep... I'm a badass dorf!

His opinion on mages
suck it!

And he responds to a wizzie breaking mez cough it up

Now let's move on to a new section I'd like to call Pimp My Plates. If you ask anyone in guild who the majority(like 95%) of the top dkp hoarders in guild are, the answer will be PLATE classes! Not because we don't wanna spend dkp... But because the drops are few and far between! Heck even I have over 500 banked! So we are gonna have in regular updates the person who got pimped up the most! Now announcing the first WoT Pimp My Plate Awardee..................

The Bazaar is bad mkay?

And now for your moment of Zen..
Lesson of the Devoted is ebil

And last but not Least a big WoT welcome to are newest members: Kuler, Zeneca, Balogh, Vearre, Shaelli, Borammar, Shadowbeaver, Tanize and Jakol!
Until Nextime....

:: Happy New Years WoT!

Happy New Years everyone! I hope everyone got what they wanted for Christmas and that your holidays were full of good times!
We took a week or so off from raiding to allow our members that extra 3 days to beat whatever lame console game for whatever console they might have gotten... Ecept for Guitar Hero 3 and Assassins Creed. They Kick ASS!
Well the new year started out with a great bang for us in WoT land. We had not only 1, not 2, not even 3 Guild firsts, but 6 guild firsts already this year!
If the rest of the year is as good as the last 3 weeks we gonna be pressing on Soltaris by Halloween!
So what did we kill?
First off we started into Deathknell. Everyone who has beaten Deathknell, knows the pain that is Vertigo. We tried once, we tried twice, then on the third time, using Plan C for the win!

Grats Utuzeneth and Caustic on Symbol of Expressivo

Then we moved on down to try our hand at the Unwelcome Guests Event. Only comment I got is Jelvin with a twist of lime. Nothing all that impressive and 10 minutes into the first attempt they were dead! Hardest part of this event was finding the chest to loot!
Grats Amadicia on Marble-Soled Boots, Razimar on Ashtar's Silken Sash, and to Dunek and Shadowcross on Mayong's Masquerade Mask

Not stopping there we naturally wanted to talk to Ayonnae Ro and let her she needs to stick to being a Goddess and stop singing Britney Spears "Hit Me Baby One More Time" ... So we did. After an almost successful dry run on her with 35 people the event just seemed to click.
Grats Daska on Symbol of Energico, Icyen on Ayonae's Crimson Shawl, and to Jitatha on Glass Orb of Consonance

DK Complete Proof of Purchase!

Another Expansion Complete! She will be on farm status for a long time

So having beaten another expansion naturally we gotta start on a new one. So we moved over to Vergalid Mines to try our hands a the Nurtha Frazzlesprocket event. It had given us problems before. But 1, 2, 3 the robots were out and the Gnome laid there dead!
Grats to Froderick, Angely and Cozzs on Gnomework Model XVII's Experimental Chestguard, Dlorien on Arachnid Model XII's Protective Hull, Kaszha on Vermin Model IV's Diseased Bauble, Leumien on Nurtha's Leggings of Focus, and Thaz on Essence of Speed. Go Go Roboboar 5000!

Feeling pretty Smug we cleared down to Goru Uldrock, the Reincarnate. And we sent him back to the land of the dead!
Grats Lelane on Diseased Ring of the Reincarnate, Tryggve and Daska on Goru's Girdle of the Deceased, and to Shadowcross on Goru's Trinket of Fidelity

Lastly there was Vergalid himself. Insane DPS. Reminds me of back in the day when you were scared to transverse Lesser and Greater Fay for fear of a Brownie beating you down! But with a Paladin left tanking, Vergalid hit the ground hard!
Vergalid has met his end!

Grats to Saundra and Gwindar on Spaulders of Dooming Exile, Jitatha and Finelarya on Serric's Virulent Augmentation And to Meilanie on a Essence of Speed. Roboboars for the win!

I'd also Like to take this time and welcome our new Members!
Aristot, Colaneil, Drete, Razimir, Soulcage and Wuwtsim! Wear the tag proud!

Now we had a few people who were missing Daosheen the PITA event for DK access. So we moved to PoR for backflags and Antwan insisted on making the front page again!
We are all the way at the top about to enter Daosheen's chamber and then ... it just happened!

This Space for Rent
And the laughter ensued....
What do you expect?
Don't we all Hard

Everyone knew it, now the bards admit it! he's a bitch not a lover!

Some people think that Necro's are evil, cruel and don't feel love. Well thats not the case here! Our necro's need to loved!
huggles Eater!

Just because a necro isn't online, doesn't mean they are not gonna find out whats said at the raid! SX the necro's would like a word with you!

And last but not least we have 2 moments of Zen this update! I know its hard to take SO much Zen

CoA Start to finish in under 2 hours! God We Suck!

Burn the witch!
BURN THE WITCH!

:: Merry Christmas WoT!

Greetings. It's been a while since I have done an update. Some say I'm being lazy, I say I was born that way shoot me.
Well we have been steadily plowing away at content, switching between Demiplane of Blood and Deathkneel, with more focus on Demiplane.
Well the focus has finally paid off. Wind of Tranquility has successfully completed the Depths of Darkhallow expansion on the 4th of December!
What a Well Deserved Christmas present!

Another Dwarf Killshot!

Let's Dance!

If only they would listen to raid instructions! FOCUS PEOPLE FOCUS!

Oh well can win them all!

And the Guild Response was overwhelming!

Did Jit say Bitch?

yes we did win

And the PH4T L3WTS WERE!
Grats Cozz on Hoop of the Dark Hunter
Grats Antwan on Wristguards of the Vampire Hunter
Grats Jitatha on Doomstone Band of Seeing
Grats Tenalina on Vermilion Orb of Clairvoyance
Let me tell ya, doing Demiplane is like going to the Dentist for a Root canal. You know it has to be done and it can be painful, but in the end its all worth it!
For those of you who have never had to do the rest of Tier 2 on a second raid day, let me feel you in.
You have 2 choices. Clear insane amounts of trash or Abuse a Mage via Call of the Hero Bridge. I'll let you guess how we do it!
Now as the Spirits of Faydewer expansion has been released, many of our members have been enjoying the grind to 80. I'd like to say that this defeat of Mayong was done with only 7 level 80's in the raid. I'm doing my part on keeping raid average level down!

Now for some random quotes

Ranger on a stick anyone?
Note to people asking if I'm gonna post it on the website....

Who's your Sk daddy?
Your damn right!

Warriors pfff
Thank you Docoe for stating the obvious!

Pallies are sick
Are all Pallies this way????

Hmm Virgins
Jitatha, I couldn't agree with you more!

Pff
Bards need nerfing

Bit better then SoE
Enchanter Quality Assurance almost as good as Sony!

Say what?
Be careful with what you say! I might be lurking in the shadows! Welcome all the new members to the guild!(You know who you are!)
And now for your EQ Moment of Zen!

:: Songs were sung and bells were rung!

It's been a fantastic week in the land of WoT! Just give me a second to cue up the song Let me Entertain you!
Ahh there we go. First we started with a new guild first. The performer’s event is complete! We only lack Mayong Mistmore before completing yet another expansion!
Siegfried showed him sheep!

Can we use showname1 please?
Grats Tildiase on Solidified marrow, Neccy on Goresteel Spaulders, Saundra on Vermiculate Drape, and Sanani on another Last Blood.

Then we decided we had enough people flagged for Deathkneel. So we decided it was time to test ourselves there! /cue AC/Dc's Hells Bells. With a rough dry run, we pulled ourselves up by the bootstraps or Sheep strap in Siegfried's Case (its ok he's Scottish,) and we Blasted our way through the first event in Deathkneel, The Tolling of Dissonant Bells!
Grats Xatranaz on Dusted Belfry Bracer, Mesmorise on Woven Belfry Wristcuff, and Parsburg on Blood Drinker's Bone Fragment
Slacker screenshots were missing for this event
Event 2 shall prove to be a bit more of a challenge!
Stay tuned as we report our progress through yet the end zone of another expansion! I might also be able to provide you with the answer to the ever burning questions. Can you punt a gnome over 50 meters? Stay tuned for that answer.

A Big WoT Welcome to the latest round of New members! Dlorien
Dunek
Fanye
Mesmorise
Saulessiar
Wear the Tag Proud!

Now your moment of Zen...
Keep her close with the gloves of love

Just remember folks, if it looks mezzed chances are... it isn't!
No Touchy

Like hell!
Tryggve, Tant would like to have a word with you!

:: RIP Rolley

The past couple of weeks I have been listening to the new CD from Six Feet Under entitled Commandment

And it was at raid time on Sunday when I looked at the Song names and I wondered.... Do THEY play Everquest????

Let us dive into the CD real quick....

Track 1: Doomsday!
Sounds at little like he was messing around with Vishmitar the Fallen when he wrote this song. So we slapped him down 2 times for even thinking he was metal...
Grats Bamsefar on Obsidian Pauldrons, Antwan and Dariell on Dragonkiller, Goner on Rod of shaded Wrath, Pede and Xanthiana on Accursed Earhoop of Pain, Angely and Loladene on Eye of Vishimtar.

I'd like to start off this update with a comment about all of you asshats that like to come to our guild boards and make up phoney accounts, porn bots, and herbal skin treatment(Daska was born with his skin that way nothing will help!)

Most notably has been the recent tossing of Daosheen(no salad intended!)

:: Have we been slacking off or wot?

Well it has been a while since we had one of these news updates. So what has WoT been upto I hear you say...

Well slacking is not one of these things. A lot of guild firsts have happenned... most notably I believe: Redfang
Dead Bat

As you can probably see in the top right our strategy of gnome sacrifices is working well for us. Other than Redfang in the "Demi Plane of Blood" we have also beat up Devlin, and even helped / killed Tris Wallow not quite sure what happened to her... no screenie thats for sure =P

Outside of demiplane we have been working hard on ToB flagging and killing a few mobs up there like Maestro.
Maestro in a wall

Also in PoR I believe we killed some event in a tree and a few more mobs in ToB...

Now onto current events we have had a few shots at fableds this month, including a full clearing of NToV vulak and all! More recently a couple of luclin mobs... Cursed Cycle High Priest and this chap
Lord Seru

We have a few new faces in the guild now, and hopefully a few more in weeks to come.

Coming Soon: Daosheen, Random ToB mobs, Random Demi mobs...

:: Demiplane update - Sister dead 4th January, Hatchet dead 28th January

Oops, it appears I slacked on updates. Both Sisters and Hatchet events have been completed by WoT, leaving Redfang to work on for tier 2 access. Sisters was completed on 4th January I think, and Hatchet was done tonight, 28th January.

Some Sisters shots -

Catfight ftw!

Blah

Insert wit here

For the majority of the raid, this is one heck of a boring event. However, for killing a ton of trash, it’s kinda nice loot.

We've been keeping ZiT and sisters dead since, and tonight we had the opportunity to take a shot at Hatchet.

Now Hatchet, he’s a lot more fun to kill. Took two tries tonight to kill him, and did it on the second try despite a misclicked trap early on.

Hatchet spotted

Big ugly on the way down.

Big ugly hits the deck!

So, after he was dead and the goodies dished out, we took a shot at Redfang. Well, lets just say we’re gonna powerlevel a bat some more times in the near future!

:: Demi-Plane progress! Zi-Thuuli of the Granite Claw broken to pieces!

As anticipated, this update is regarding Demi-Plane. After sitting around for a couple of hours playing with eyeballs and lenses in front of a werewolf, we decided to trundle off to try out what we had worked so hard for. With 50 flagged members still having the time to go further, we entered the Demi-Plane of Blood. Cool sky in this place, I didn’t notice if it rained blood like in PoFear though.

Once inside, we knew we would have a surprise shortly. Surely enough, we had this chap appear (and I don't mean Kaszha's pet).

Now that’s a big gargoyle.

The snare is annoying as hell for pulling the trash here =P After a while, we ended up with this situation.
Wee, blockers for the stupid snare!

Took a while due to slow pops, but we got there on first attempt. If you can call a mob that despawns and respawns a ‘first’ attempt.

As for the loot, Armguards of the Vampire Hunter went to Rallan, Runic Bloodstained Maul and Woven Shadow Stone went to Hairytoes. Last Blood went to Yllandra.

Good work from all, and decent loot to start off the new zone. I guess we’ll be alternating between Anguish runs for easy loot + OMM, and days of leanring Demi-Plane. I suspect we'll also be backflagging the blood targets on the days we have enough online needing them.

In the meantime, we have the following announcement to make - Qanlaen is only partly immortal.

The truth is out.

This means killing him with pulls isn’t worth as many points any more. Clerics and other chanters are still fair game though pullers. (Mental note - petition for chanters to be able to haste the raid from PoK)

Even better news! Or more worrying, depending on how you look at it. One of our trolls is apparently entering his mating season, and so is attending to his appearance and odour.

About damn time.

All in all, no excellent mistells or pictures. I NEED more cybor in the guild please. Lith, Nic, Ty, I am relying on you three for this.

:: Vule down, welcome to the Demi-Plane of Blood!

Well well – another update so soon you say?

It seemed to be necessary, as we appear to have a problem that urgently needs correction.

Too much information?

So, please forward anything that might be of assistance to Yx, at aggroproblems@hotmail.com – I am sure he will be very appreciative.

Moving swiftly on, we have a new dead vampire, He-Of-A-Thousand-Clicks – Mr Vule. Once again, Plan B for the win. Well, technically, Plan D, which was Plan B but Jit yelled at us more. So, Plan B wins again.

Another vampire slain – Buffy would be proud!

So, now we have 12 people flagged for Demiplane, and hope to be done with this guy in a couple of weeks. After that, we have plenty more mobs to for us to die horribly on until Plan B pops up. It’s a pity we can’t just skip Plan A more often. =)

Also of note was a recent Direwind kill – Severan the Direwind. Oh.. My… God… the hit points on this guy is nuts. Kinda like all Anguish bosses back to back, excluding OMM.

Severan down... eventually.

The amusing thing is, this guy turns out to be a progression kill. Did we have anyone ready for it? Umm, well… So, we get to do him a few more times apparently. Good parse mob for extended duration fights though, I bet our necros love him. I think it was something like a 30 minute fight.

So, where next? I think we have a couple of weeks of Vule farming to do, while maintaining Anguish runs that have a new breath of life in them again with OMM providing some BPs and new shiny things. I guess now that we’re flagged for Daosheen we’ll start attempting him at some point, and now that the vast majority of the guild is DSK flagged, we’ll probably start focusing on ToB access for people to do on non-raid nights while we work on Demi-Plane at the same time. Of course, I am just a follower, so could be totally wrong =P

Who knows, maybe we’ll figure out what the heck to do in TSS and perhaps make some progress there, but running around blind is too much fun. =)

So, a guess at the next update? I would guess Zi-Thuli… not putting a time limit on it, someone might hold me to it. =P

:: Overlord Mata Muram slain!

It seems to be a bad few weeks to be a ruler in EQ. Queen Sendaii was removed from power recently, and now the Overlord in Anguish has fallen to a hardened bunch of adventurers.

Tuesday the 21st of November was the day WoT decided to try Plan B. Screw the lengthy, drawn out process, just kill the damn thing.

And so...
Overlord removed from power!

Unfortunately I slacked last night and so have no awesome screenshot of people running around in ye old graphics, but apparently all we could see was a foot sticking out of the wall anyway.

The lovely loots were…

Symbol of the Overlord to Yxmoerdaran
Anguish chest piece to Phartos
Ring of Persecution to Hagi
(and I guess this means we got another leg mold too. woo.)

I suspect the next update will be Thursday, with a Vule kill and hopefully a screenshot.

Queen Sendaii removed from power!

Such a horrible fight to loose… but damn, awesome fight to win! WoT vanquished this many-legged Queen-of-terror in style in just over 1 hour 15 mins. Apparently the key is to allow bio breaks *before* the raid starts…

Proof!

Still killing Anguish and other stuff, and I even got a screenshot of a Porthio kill just so we can really prove we did it!

Only one animal was harmed while taking this picture, but it was mean.

:: Co9 and Porthio down!

Council of 9 slain! Porthio slain!*

* but no sucker is sending a corpse shot, so we have no proof...

Yes, all shots are still in old graphics. Until you can make the luclin models not suck, this is what you are stuck with. =P

Splat!

Wena solo'd it!

We've also killed a few raid targets in Direwind, but those don't seem worth a picture. Anguish farming continues, as does Vish, but recently we've been working more on some new targets to get back onto progression in DODH and POR.

One thing worth a screenshot is this - why can't more targets have great amusement value like this one?
Ranger paradise

Selected stuff. This is pretty lame I'm afraid. We need better mistells please, and more cybor to raid channels and Sollen.

The truth hurts...
Painfully honest

Bards. What can they really do that suprises you?
Bards...

About time the pallies admitted it too!

Loot:
Dragonkiller to Tildiase
Cloak of Deepshadow to Solkarin
Dark Heart of Vishimtar to Leasyra

:: Just a quickie...

Despite the lack of activity on the main page here, WoT has been busy, so just putting up an update as a certain troll has been slacking on updates recently... too much beer at that festival and still crawling home I guess?

We came, we wiped, we rezzed, we conquered... Bloodeye and Emperor Draygun deaded! 3/5 on DP access!

Draygun Down!

This was a fun fight and quite straight forward once we got used to it. Scary DPS when you mess up. =)

Unfortunately I can't find my screenshot of Bloodeye dead, but that little puppy was put down without mercy, though most of us were whimpering like dogs about our buffs, or more accurately, about the lack of them. =P

Relic dragons are also deaded a couple of times, though our attention is mainly on Vish and DP access. COA farming is still going like clockwork and some random Tacvi raids still occur when we have lockouts and want to slack. =)

On a lighter note, this is an example of the reverse psychology our illustrious raid leader uses on us...

So true...

... and one of our rogues is apparently in denial...

In denial!

That's all for now, updates will be coming on Vish and Co9 as soon as we stop wiping! =P

:: Jelvan down! next please...

Just last week I made an update on our first anguish run, killing respectively
Ture, Warden Hanvar and Keldovan the Harrier. We also tried Jelvan, with no success.
Obviously we headed back to farm some more quality loot and to try the Jelvan event
again. The Jelvan event is a tough one we found out, we got him to about 55% I
think on our first Anguish run.
We killed Ture, Warden and Keldovan again so we still had a lockout from sunday
and decided to go back and see if we could do better.
So we went into combat on the jelvan event, fully prepared, hoping we
might get further than last time.
First try we whiped due to some tanks dying and... general stuff I guess!
On our 2nd run, we had a completely different strat, WoT copyrighted.
We actually did it to everyones surprise which showed in /gu
plentifull. Hopefully we will finetune this encounter soon and get it on
farmstatus, as we saw some nice drops already.
So Jelvan was killed only 9 days after entering Anguish for our first time!!
Grats WoT, nice work all around.

Here's the picture with the treasure chest, no corpseshot available unfortunatly.

Jelvan Down!

just some text

Loots from Jelvan:

some loots:
Loladene - Anguish sleeves
Gazzk - Girdle of the Fleet
Knoke - Mask of Lament
Jitatha - Epic 2.0 globe

Ok so we killed Jelvan, everyone was still hyped and strange how no one
had to log due to it being quite late already.
What is the next target that becomes available after Jelvan? Right,
Arch Magus Vangl. As we still had a good raid force, we went on in Anguish
to see what the AMV fight is about.

Welcome to AMV's room!

Alright, Arch Magus first and only attempt ahead. We weren't fully prepared
as most people didn't have any potions or only a few left and we didn't
know what to expect. However, we still got him down to 75% before we
decided to ae tl out and try again sometime later.
I'm sure this isn't too hard once everyone is prepared and now at least
we know what to expect.

:: Welcome to The Citadel of Anguish!
Welcome to Anguish!

So, we've all worked our ass off to get us in another candyland! Sunday, 7th of May we
ventured off into The Citadel of Anguish to check it out and maybe do a named or 2.
It went pretty smooth and we ended up with 3 kills to our name, namely:

Warden Hanvar, Ture, Keldovan the Harrier

some loots:
Mini's

Saundra, Phartos - Stone of Horrid Transformation

Ture
Baelian - Anguish Boots
Hairytoes - Necklace of Stability
Knoke - Hanvar's Hoop

Warden Hanvar

Baelian - Necro 2.0
Verity - Anguish Bracer
Baelian - Shield of the Planar Assassin
Docoe - Cloak of Regretful Transgressions

Keldovan the Harrier

Angely - Anguish Bracer
Saundra - Mask of the Crackling Energy
Mythrill - Stud of Chilling Precision

Last update was a little while ago, in the meantime we've killed some more Yar'lirs
kessdona's, shyra's and other farmstuff. Grats to all those winners and let's see what tonight

:: Yar'lir, Anguish access and more mpg!
Yar'lir the Farmable Matriarch

That's right, Yar'lir down on our first try. As soon as the dragon hit 90% of health
I knew we would beat this sucker easily.
I don't know how others felt about this fight, but I sincerely thought
we would get our asses handed to us at like 70% if we were lucky.
But... Yar'lir appeared to be as easy as pie and didn't stand a chance.
Mind you, there is arrogance and knowing when you can say a target is easy
and this was easy. PHARM!!
Great work from everyone and ofcourse grats go out to the winners of our first Yar'lir drops:

Yxmoerdaren - Windfury Katana
Jitatha - Lightning Singed Mantle
Qanlaen - Crystallized Glass Staff

Also, in the past week we have been running around in mpg like
like headless chickens, trying to beat down our last needed
(and dreaded) trial: Foresight.

Foresight down!

So uhm.. we beat that! grats 50 something people on Anguish flag.
Also, we beat down 3 other trials again where we had a little problems with
in the past, namely, Adaption, Endurance and Specialization.
Now we will most likely do each trial at least once more to get the
last people their Anguish pizza.
All in all a productive week for us!

:: Fabled WoT
Finally another update, it's been a little while! Apart from the
regular farmage every week, we recently did some new DoN progression 42 man raid event. Crappy loottable and easy encounter, but well.. It's still gotta happen!
We'll be doing more of "The guardian of the sand" and "Volkara's bite"
so everyone is a bit prepared for Yar'lir and can complete tier 3 in DoN progression.

Later that day we had a nostalgic feeling in our gut and wanted to see some
of the fabled raid targets.
Zlandicar was killed (old school screenshot):

The Fabled Zlandicar

Zlandi dropped some stuff, including Fabled Crown of Mortality which went to Kaszha.
Even did some epic fights in DN in between, zoned out and whacked Klandicar.
Random dispells ftw!

- WoT completes Gates of Discord! -

Here we go again, another guildfirst. On 7th of March WoT killed Tunat
for the very first time, completing the Gates of Discord expansion in a mere 6 weeks.
First off, to get to Tunat you have to kill several other nameds ofcourse.
This happened on March 5th, We had only been to the zone once before than.
After playing around a little with some of the mobs, it resulted in:

corpses

Had some nice loots in the progress from the ZM's + friends!

Daladrion - Wristguard of Chaotic Essence
Farnos - Glyphed Sandstone of Idealism
Tryggve - Shimmering Granite
Gardorla - Armguards of Insidious Corruption
Knullrufs - Armguards of Insidious Corruption
Hardabit - Aegis of Midnight
Saundra - Gloves of Coalesced Flame
Daladrion - Boots of Captive Screams
Rewenya - Boots of Captive Screams
Panzir - Bloodstone Blade of the Zun'Muram
Wenamcea - Gauntlets of Malicious Intent
Ardbeg - Luxurious Satin Slippers
Farnos - Golden Idol of Destruction
Hairytoes - Ring of Organic Darkness

Thaz - Mantle of Corruption
Qanlaen - Hammer of Delusions
Docoe - Loop of Entropic Hues

Once again, our fearless raidleader explained us the topsecret strat to kill this
mob, and yes... It works!

:: :: Adaption, Specialization

After a bit of a slow start, we headed out to DoN and killed Rikkukin.
Once down, we needed to move to MPG. Why we thought?
To "try" one of the raid trials we've tried quite a few times before,
getting the encounter lower and lower in percentage each time resulting in 2% at last try.
Feeling good about our fresh Rikkukin kill, we moved to Adaption with confidence.
Against some peoples believes we actually beat it for the first time!
quite neatly too I must add!
Except for the cleric planned conspiracy of not healing me ofcourse.
They told me it was needed to sacrifice a troll to win the encounter. /shrug

Here is what we got from our guildfirst on Adaption:

- Hesychios -
Veil Of Intense Evolution

- Amadicia -
Wand of Twisted Fate

- Identhea -
Boots of Altered Perception

At this point our night couldn't be broken down anymore as we were finally able
to lay the smack on Adaption. So the officers decided it was time for something new.
We moved to Specialization trial, we zoned in with the feeling "let's see how
far we can get in this one" and we zoned out with:

- Knullrufs -
Specialization

That's the 2 new raid trials beaten for WoT in 1 evening!
And how would we survive without our raidleaders ever technical and intelligent view on new mobs:

:: New Year, new targets - WoT kicks off 2006 with another guild first!
Feeling a bit chubby and trying to burn some of that extra Xmas-fat we turned to swimming, during one of our laps in Stoneroot Falls we discovered a mysterious tunnel that took us into the lair of some ancient aquatic beast that had been disturbed from its slumber.

Searching the underwater tunnels we stumbled upon a huge monsterous eel that left our bards with a profound feeling of inadequacy. Of course such mockery can't be tolerated so we charged the beast and after some mayhem put it back to sleep and came away with some nice trinkets.

Grats on Eateruv on augpiece, Hardabit on a very nice belt, Tryggve on a shiny new bow, Rodlok on a comfy cloak, Moorelight and Avarina on Glowing runes.

It was a heroic fight but some of our tanks found it hard to stay focused during the fierce battle..

We also took the time to bring a quick smackdown on Matriarch Shyra again, Grats Gardorla on a new flowerpot, grats Hairytoes on a rock to lug around and grats Knullrufs on the augpiece.

During the slack christmas brought we also had a few new epics to round off 2005 so many big warm congrats to Hardabit, Leila, Avarina and Farnos on your 1.5's!

Last year held tremendous progression, we started 2005 recovering from the exodus EQ2 brought but still in a good fashion rampaging the EP's taking down Xegony and come summer we beat the ole Squid to enter Time, and with the defeat of Quarm we finally finished Planes of Power! We ventured into GoD coming as far as to beating Inktu'ta opening up Txevu and were successful in OOW taking down the royals in RSS and beating a few mpg trials. DoN brought along dragons once again and we got Rikkukin down there. What will the new year hold for WoT? What new adventures lies waiting for us? Will we take the step up and enter Anguish? Will we conquer yet another expansion, GoD, beating Tunat`Muram Cuu Vauax (*cough*) in Tacvi? Will we get to pit our strength against the mighty Vishimtar the Fallen? Only time will tell but we are here, we have the momentum and we are stronger than ever!

And remember, always keep in mind why you play this game.. =)

:: Straight from the Wolves mouth - WoT enters DoD with a bang!
After a quick Volkara we felt a strange savage hunger for something new, something fresh.. This urge took us to Stoneroot Falls in search of a beast in heat, Matriarch Shyra.

After letting her dryhump Doc for a little while we took her down without mercy. Another fine WoT-first!! But we seem to have gotten some kind of nasty rash from getting too intimate with her.. Anybody got some lotion or something for it? :/

During all the scratching and itching we found time to sortout a little bit of loot as well, grats Xatranaz on a new klonker for the noggin, grats Istivan on a very nice and hard won aug! And grats Draaz on our very first slot12 augpiece!!

As usual we've also had the time for some fun, doing fights for each other and generally playing around so congratulations to Knoke on completing Warrior 1.5 and Arilyne on Cleric 1.5! Nice one guys!

On a sidenote, anyone buying a pink frog?? We seem to have one spare, you'll get it cheap..

To all past & present WoTies and all our friends out there we wish you a very Merry Christmas!!

10:51am UTC, 21st Dec 2005

:: Rikky Deaded!! - Another glorious WoT-first!
We just keep stacking them up!!

This time it was Rikky in Don we payed a visit, Doc had the whole raid waiting when he /q at the sight of the Dragon but finally we engaged it. After fighting what must have been a teenaged girl *go left, no right, eeek don't look at me* we brought the beast down, "smote his ruin on the mountainside" /chuckle, and had ourselves a nice bbq..

Since the beast had 4 legs it's only logical we came away with 2 pair of pants, grats Weawen and Poeslief, and grats Istivan on a very sweet neck!!

Feeling very good about ourselves and mighty focused we skiped over to mpg to give Foresight a try, ehhhrrrm, well after that we went to RSS instead and beat up Queen Pyro to get Hairytoes that dagger he's been craving, Jyve also got a nice belt and Vatras got an Ancient Rune, grats guys!

Yep just another typical day in the life of a WoTie.

01:02pm UTC, 7th Dec 2005

:: Inktu'Ta goes bye-bye, Hello Txevu!!
Yep that's a fact, another Wotfirst!!

On our third attempt on Inktu'Ta we had the place trembling and shaking in it's foundations, the focused Woties shot trough the hallways in record time laying waste to the surprised inhabitants. Swirvette even found the time to bomb the stairway with some wicked murals -Wotside!!

After dealing Noqufiel a fair dose of humiliation we came away with not only the oh so common "wotpride 'n glory" but also a truckload of splinters and 10 pieces of loot including runes, augs and gear that even got our casters to open their wallets!!

Grats Winners!
Jyve Lustrous Shimmering Band
Panzir Effigy of Kelekdrix
Vannay Muramite Chest Armor
Phartos Shattered Jade Band of Anger
Mythrill Loop of Endless Insanity
Knullrufs Earhoop of the Eighteen Eyes
Swirvette Pikebladed Ripper of the Arch-Thief
Moorelight Onyx Shard of Enlightenment
Phartos and Solkarin Chaos Runes

Now you might think us satisfied after such a feast but then you wouldn't know us. With plenty of time to go we leaped over to RSS and proceeded to give King Gelly the beating of his life for some nice gear and runes.. Grats Xatranaz! Gratz Mythrill!

Stay tuned for more Wotness and cya on the Wotside in Txevu!

:: Goodbye Uqua, Hello Qvic!
As you all know, WoT has been partying in GoD for a short time farming through Ikkinz 1-4. We've also been banging our heads against the wall trying to convince the inhabitants of Uqua to share in the fun.

The very nature of the zone gave us many types of obstacles to overcome, and WoT perservered and made it through each and every one; we're even putting in an application to the patent office to trademark "WoT's Wall o' Meat" solution! (Ask the tanks for details)

One by one we convinced these elf/gnome hybrid thingies - along with their pet rock golems - that a WoT party in their sacred temple was actually a good thing! Finally, after only 2 previous meetings with Mr. Qurat-big-man himself, we had this zealot dancing a jig to the WoT tune.

And there was much rejoicing. Yaaaay.
No, seriously, we're extremely glad to have stomped this zone into the ground! Ah yes, the loot:

We've also been farming Riftseekers Sanctum targets and the crispy dragon Tirranun in DoN. The WoT force is better than ever, we hope Qvic is down to party, 'cuz we're bringing it!

-Now back to the fun

04:33pm UTC, 15th Sep 2005

:: New Frontiers!
Well we've certainly been busy!

WoT decided to try our hand at taking on one of DoN's first raid dragons: Tirranun. Life didn't get any easier for this burn victim excuse of a dragon when we showed up. Tirranun just wasn't able to keep up with a WoT party, as we sent him to a dirt-nap on the first attempt. Just to clarify: the name of the encounter is Fanning the Flames, the Flames :)

Screenies from Tirranun Fight:

It does feel good to take a break from killing gods and beat on some old-fashioned dragons now and again! Especially when many in the guild have resorted to a certain activity to maintain their sanity through PoTime runs...

WoT also popped over to Wall of Slaughter and paid Pyrique Redwing and her shadows a visit, the result was much the same as the WoT party mugged another defenseless mob of their loot.

Loot

We've also tried to party with Mr. Rhorius again, but he's still grumpy from the last 2 times we killed him with low numbers. So of course, we had to teach him a lesson and take some more toys of his:

And last but not least, we got bored on a weekday and payed this scaley face a visit:

We downed him after a pretty decent and short fight: short considering the number of people we had!

No, you're eyes do not decieve you. 28 people handed this reptile's ass back to him in true WoT fashion. Thanks for a good time sir, you and yours know how to party - even if you don't RSVP before every single one of you charges the dancefloor..

See you at our next party!

:: WoT in GoD!
Due time for an update!

Recently WoT has been rampaging through Time and Ikkinz 1-3 without abandon, defeating most encounters on the first attempt!

With only a handful of full time clearings, and fewer Quarm kills under our belt (some with impressively low #'s, and not one failure!), we decided to see what this Keeper of the Altar was all about.
After a chaotic fight where a plethora of mobs literally fell from the ceiling, there was only one outcome!

WoT Ownage!!

WoTed, bitch!

You: But how?! How can it be possible to be so damn good?!
WoT: Simple, we distract the mob with things like this!:

Awwww!

Isn't it cute? Sparkling thumbs and all...

Lets also not forget Battlemaster Rhorius, who was also taken down for the first time not too long ago! (screenies soon!)

Oh yes, the lewt.. how could i forget?

Until next time!

News not been updated in few weeks, due to slacking. Well not slacking just being too damn busy killing stuff.

First off big grats to us ganking The Rathe Council on first attempt
Roitlet Highsun said - oops wrong spell set loaded
Others said Woot, and thank Tunare its done with. Rathe took us just under 6 hours, anyway heres a big screenie.

Yes some loot but who cares about that when flags are about!

Other news....
Our recruitment drive has been a huge success and our raids are most often full. WoT old timers welcome all the newer peeps for joining. After rocky months, like everyone else, we are a solid family guild.

Mobs - We have obtained a number of guild firsts and visited some old friends Fenin Ro died again, anyone else think hes gimp?

:: Rolling, Rolling, Rolling.
WoTs up ? Since EQ2 came out every guild on every server has been hit hard, WoT has weathered the storm, recruited organically and is firmly an EP guild.
In the last month we have killed every single Pre EP PoP boss, thats Grummus, Caprin, Bertox, Saryn, AD, MB, HoH trials, MM, 5 x sol ro minis, Sol RO, TZ, VZ and of course the big boy Rallos Zek.
This proves our commitment to everyone who joins the raiding family guild that is WoT. During the rough time our members who support our core values remained and we are as strong as ever, achieving kills with less people than ever before.
For Example, Sunday Plane of Fire, Blazznox the Omnifiend, Babnoxis, Pyronis and the birds all went down with 15 less than previously.
Very shortly we will be playing around with the EP gods again.
Epics 1.5 have been completed and fights done, Cleric, necro, chanter, bst, shaman all finished.
OOW rune farming also take place on a regular basis, and as a warm up to the main events, quite a few 69 runes entering the guild.
Want to be part of the ride? Currently we are accepting apps from all classes except Wars. Dont meet the requirement posted but think you like the idea of 3 day a week raiding? Speak to an officer in game. Cross server app, yup we accept those too. We do like you to group with WoTies first though so we get to know you all.
We are looking for people who can make at least 2 of the raid days, and will log in occasionally during the week for grouping. Check out the recruitment forum.

09:57am UTC, 10th Jan 2005

:: Tour of Omens
Been a few days since previous update, so thought I should throw something up to let everyone know WoT is Alive and kicking arse.
WoT has ventured into the new fangled Omens of War zones and come away with victories.
Sharpshooters event have been shot down a few times, spilling some runes and scabbard.
Bone Crusher has been splattered WoT style coughing up runes and a bracer.
Lirah the Bridgekeeper had a lucky escape but we will be back.
Mobs in PoF have fizziled out due to our onslaught.
Our brave ranger Rallan managed to perform a feat so amazing I doubt anyone can repeat it. Pulling both Criare Sunmane and Jaxoliz Dawneyes with one arrow! Big up to the WoT ranger massive.
To top everything off we have made one of our clerics Isha very happy by completing her epic quest.
Interested in having fun with us? Go check out the applications forum.

:: WoT news? How's about this...
We have been slacking a bit with the news, no excuses that's just the way it is.

Well, what have we been up to since last news update? A bit of this and some of that, mainly gearing up the Guild and progressing through the EP's. Since our last update we have stacked up 10 new Guild Firsts. We have butted heads with Corinav and Xegony trying get them dead but have not been successful yet - we have the strategies down now though, so it shouldn't be long until they fall. On the up-side, our first visit to PoEb resulted in a flawless first-time victory over Warlord Gintolaken and his cronies.

We also have completed some of the new epic quests on the non-raid days and after raids, lots of fun fights. So far we have completed the beastlord, enchanter, necromancer, rogue, shaman and warrior epics, with more to come as lots of people are are at their final stages.

With some new additions to the WoT-family we have also hit a few backflag targets since last update: Rallos Zek, Soulsek Ro, Tallon Zek, Vallon Zek, Agnarr, Bertoxxulous, Mithaniel Marr and the Sol Ro minis, think we might have dropped Saryn once also.

:: WoT Olympics
As with the real life Olympics being played in Athens, and the olympiads breaking world records and personal bests, WoT appears to have been inflicted with the spirit. After beating RZ and pushing ourselves last week to ensure we took down the giant suit of armour what target should we set our minds on?

Well this week we decided on Reef of Coirnav or more commonly known as Plane of Water as our hunting ground. So following the normal ruitine we blast our way round to the first target Grioihin the Wise, who after a surprise pull decided he wanted to join the raid well we felt rather strongly about that so killed him.

We then set out to meet up Hydrotha who wasn't quite so keen on joining the party but after a bit of cajoling got stuck in... and died, grats us.

Well after two rather successful fights we decided Krziik the Mighty didn't look so mighty so we killed him too flawlessly to be precise not even a dead wizard!

with a final target of Ofossaa the Enlightened she decided to be a party pooper and after forcing us to brush down twice to clean off the kelp and algae we decided she was getting rather boring and killed her too. With nothing else to kill we left feeling rather happy! Grats wot on a rather successful day in PoW not one... not two... not three... but four guild firsts! all in one day not bad for some part timers!

grats Reborrn!

grats Meilanie!

grats Suesses!

grats Jitatha!

grats Akie (thats me!)

grats Phartos & Blasamo!

grats Istivan!

:: *The* Zek is dead
There has been rumour doing the rounds, that the brave people of WoT couldn`t kill this bad man:

So the folks of Wind of Tranquility set out to the root of the problem, settling down for tea and crumpet`s and a general chat with Mr. Zek himself! After having a nice tour of the place led by the brother`s Decorin:

We met up in Mr. Zek`s balcony overlooking his keep. After a brief negotiation he quickly disappeared as he was no match for Knoke`s hard sell! We knew what had to be done, a face off in the Arena itself, to settle it for once and for all!
Daska took over the negotiation`s from Knoke and layed down the law upon Mr. Zek. No more telling lies no more stories saying he can beat us down, it had to end right here! And so it did...

Congrats to everyone on an awsome job! Made us personally very proud today! Gratz to Aella & Malbec on

:: Thursday July 29th - Wind of Tranquility vs Avatar of Dust
This was not our first attempt at the Avatar of Dust cycle, although our previous attempt had us well...eating dust - ironically enough.

So we met as per usual on our beach, Akie handed out some cocktails, Daska applied suntan lotion to all the sunbathing ladies, and several rangers were having a game of volleyball.

Next thing we know, time to up deckchairs and move to Xegony's domain. So we up and left the beach, zoned in - got all unflagged slackers in on piggy, and started to clear. After nearly losing our beloved Tenalina in a hedge - it was time to start clearing WoT style.

Dismembered limbs of mobs were flying, arrows were being notched, rangers were dying, wizards were afk autofollowing, and clerics were (just about) healing..everything seemed as usual... until a dreadful moment occured...

**cue eerie music**

Jitatha tells the raid : "SAVE THE RANGERS"

For several moments we were stunned. What could be meant? Saving rangers? But we did not question our valiant raidleader - and on we went.

Spiders tried to kill us. Spiders succeeded on some of us, however, WoT gained the moral victory on the battle fields of air - GratZ to Isha on Spiked Toe Boots!

In an attempt of vengeance, more spiders came to steal their boots back - we fought them off, wave after wave, we seemed overwhelmed but it was not to be for the spiders. After shouting useful phrases such as "BURN" "KILL" and "DESTROY" from Nuclin, all the spiders were dead. Time for a rez, time for a rebuff. Sadly time was what we didnt have

**cue sad music**

The weeny little spiders had all despawned, and the ring had managed to escape. But not to worry! We will come back soon with fire in our hearts and paladin pickles in our bellies, ready to face the horrors of The Ring of Dust....

:: Revenge tastes like Blueberry Pie!
After last Thursday how could we possibly surpass the fun we had... well we did it, the Sunday just gone 47 WoT’ers logged in to splat Agnarr, nothing unusual there I here you say. Well those members decided they would see what is happening in the realm of Xegony.

To our excitement we find the Mist ring up and what better than to quiet the critics and prove that last time wasn’t a fluke! Wandering over we uncovered that stupid and rather annoying bug Baltador the Cursed was in the way. Reaching for our giant can of bug spray we sent him the way of most bugs who are in the wrong place at the wrong time.

So off we trundle to the ring and to cut a long (not really that long tbh being dramatic) story short we barely broke a sweat! The Avatar of Mist was dead before you could say Wind of Tranqual... Tranquil... WoT! After a few members had to leave for lunch it still left us with a sizeable force to go looking else where and what do we find? The ring of WIND! It seems that wind had the same problem as Mist! And to just 41 WoT members not bad for a first time. All in all a very exciting day and some VERY tasty loot RAR!

Grats to Coif -

Grats to Daladrion -

Grats to Slappah -

Grats also to...

And some fun

Todays special: Dorf on a stick!

:: Plane of Air ( Guitar )
I would like to start this little snippet by apologising to Miss Xegony “boobie taunt” the Queen of Air. Sorry about us invading your realm M’aam, we don’t mean to cause offence but the subjects of your realm have recently annoyed us by stupidly waving their arms around in big circles. This we Believed was them pretending they are guitarist's in “Queen” during the middle of a performance of “Bohemian Rhapsody”. No offence to all those “Queen” lovers out there, I myself am a fan, but hey…. They just looked totally ridiculous the way they stood around all day and night with screwed up faces murmerin
“im just a poor boy nobody love’s me”
“He’s just a poor boy from a poor family”
“spare him his life from this monstrosity!!”
blah blah blah
“Bwwaaa da da da daa deee da”
“Bwwaaa da da da daa deee da”
etc etc etc

I mean C’mon M’aam, you obviously cant control them…. So we did.

So apologies for “ass whooping” Calebgrothiel Gakamenial, Queen Silandria, ( now she was the worst!! Try to imagin a flying fishy thing playing air Guitar if you can !!) and last night Baltaldor the Cursed, and The Avatar of Mist,

Now, they obviously appreciated us coming and saving them from a fate worse than “eternal air Guitaring” cos they decided to give us a few gifts. I wont rub it in your face too much M’aam by mentioning them all, but will just make a little mention of your cuddly wittle avatar’s prezzies.

Jitatha won our fist Elemental Mould, grats Miss Puss in Boots, don’t you dare use them poor helpless wide ol eyes on us again…. You don’t have a Spanish accent, and just cos Traggy is an ogre he aint no Shrek. So grats on Dumul's Cap of the Brute you gotta work for the next ones.

Polg the hairy little dorf snuck in behind my back and stole Band of Swirling Air from me just as I was about to loot it, me thinks the “vertically challenged” little blighter must have ran between me legs or something !!

Here is the Evidence !!

Just After this was taken I felt something tickely between my legs !!

Now as a final note, I would like to go back to the “monk's surely are the bravest of the brave” theory I have, I would like to expand that to “monks surely are the bravest of the brave and the most Selfless of the people without selves” ( not including halflings or gnomes… cos well they too small to notice most of the time ). Istivan and myself ( who had only been on-line 5 mins) were aware that you may be a little displeased with us going round killing your minions. So For the well being of our companions we decided to do a few kamekazi runs towards the Avatar of Mist as Human Sacrifices to make sure your Boobies stay appropriately “jubbley” to keep our peeps attention when we pay you a visit, in about 7 mins I think we managed to total or corpses between us. Perhaps we can add "sly" to the description of Wot Monks as we even managed to “trick” Dariell, Hairytoes and Drus into wandering “accidentally” into his path and leaving their not so attractive corpses behind for you. (who needs them chicken fillets in the bra when you can squeeze in the odd Halfling or monkly corpse eh)

Well, that’ll do from me.
Farewell M’aam, we shall see you soon.
From Da WoTties

:: CoD & PoHate
Tuesdays raid started in CoDecay to flag some slackers. It went nicely and grats to peeps who got flag and also grats to Lami for a Boneshod Greatstaff.

Secondary target was the Plane of Hate to slay Innoruuk the god of Hate. Inny kill went smoothly aswell and grats to Linor for his new nice and shiny Anathema and also Caltine and Nephenthes for their new Insidious Twisted Cords.

Third kill - right before everyone was too sleepy to know wich way was north we headed for the last target - The Maestro, killed him aswell without any hassle and grats to Ummari and Beredir for their new Darkfelt Robes.

:: Chicken Run
Since we're in the process of backflagging our new recruits and with the latest hrrrrrm "issues" with cornering we decided to pick a few targets that would put up a fair fight. So we breezed our way up to the old birdlover Saryrn where we promptly cleaned her cage. Having lots of time to spare after that we said "Hey, why not also kill the mommabird!!.

So next stop was Arlyxir in SolRo to kill us some chicken. After some bacon at zonein we were soon back in business and we found ourself face to face with the oversized poultry and down it went. Colonel Sanders would have been so proud!

:: Solro Burns!
WoT have now killed Solusek Ro himself and got a large number of WoTies Fully flagged for Elemental Planes!

After a small wipe, WoT has now killed Solro twice. We are now trying to finish up all of our backflagging type raids in the hope that soon we will beable to get enough flagged to start raiding in EP's

In the last few weeks, WoT has progressed quite a bit and got some of the main 'blocks' down, so that now we can continue our progression now through the Elemental Planes. Good to see as always that some members never change.

After we finished raiding, we thought it might be an idea to take down an old rival, Overlord Paffa. I think Horeb now regrets agreeing to the Wizards choice of AoEing the script.

Was quite, how shall we put it, amusing :)
Calwen summed up the result of the mini raid though with this comment.

Thats all for now, im sure your be updated of more of WoT's continuous Progress. See you soon.

:: WoT ventures into Solro !

Hello all and welcome to 2004!
Time to get a new update in as some people have been slacking over the holidays.

Since last update we have done a few more Runs of Saryn, Berty and Mith Mar to get 88 Wotties flagged for Solro Now. Given the amount we have flag, we can raid in Solro now as we have enough to piggy back WoT slackers in too.
During the Holidays our Attendance slowed down a little so didn't raid big targets much. Had a few runs at RZ script and hope to get him down completely in the near future.

Some guildies have spent a bit of time in Solro Exping, during then we have often spotted some Solro Mini's up and have been able to get a couple of peeps to go kill them.

So far we've managed to get kills from The Protector of Dresolik, Arlyxir, Xuzl and Rizlona. And soon to be on our kill list: Jiva!

We also started farming these with big force's now as a lot of wotties have access to the Temple now, and soon after RZ on our hit list, Solro himself!

And here are a few amusing screenshots that have 'popped' up throughout the last month of so :)

For Once Melciah was right !!

And there are the reasons....

Talking of cyber, there are some people...

...Yes, Some people..

...And some crazy people..

..And some mean people! =(

It is though nice to hear things from our lovely, nice and caring raid leaders!

True, in some ways! ;)

And how to get your way with one of the female officers?

But then sometimes..

All for now, be safe and have fun!

:: How does it feel to be our enemy?
Ladies and Gentlemen.... We Got Him!!!

Yes, you can belive me. Finally after many tries, we have slain this mighty God, who has cause us so much hassle in the last few weeks.

Congratulations to those who got Solro flagged! Am i the only one who now begins to hear the death march of Rallos Zek the Warlord?

In other news, we completed more Trials in the Halls of Honour, once again meeting WoT's most liked dragon

We also mounted a brave adventure to the Plane of Hate, Home of the God Innourk, when he is not making housecalls. We decided to pick on one of his denziens, being a bard and all!

Its nice to break away from the normal PoP mobs, and go back to someone oldworld, and have fun in doing so!

:: Wind of Tranquility news!

As people have been slacking this last few weeks, guess ill do a little belated update.

Killed a few ST mobs, few Tier 1 PoP Bosses, another Ntov Clearance.

The Picture above tells a better story i think. Yes we killed Saryn for the first time last sunday night, with 38 people, yes, 38 WoT members.
Laromir summed the raid up with this little snipplet i think.
Was a great experience, especially as our only intent when going into the Plane of Torment that evening was to find out information about the Keeper of Sorrows event. Dont think anyone in that raid, at the start, thought we was going to get our Guild first kill that evening. By the time we had killed the Keeper, most people started to think that we may actually have a chance at killing Saryn. Although a little messy, we killed her!
Have actually killed her another time since then, although didn't go as smoothly with 72 people lol.

On both of the kills,

Grats to Calwen on

Grats Deky on,

Grats Tualador, Ketwen & Colan on

In Other news, after doing a few more backflags for our members, have been able to have two decent attempts at Lord Mith Marr. Although we havn't been successful on him yet, we are getting very close and after getting him down to 49%, should beable to get him Soonish. Which will enable the first group's of WoT's to enter the Tower of Sol Ro! :)

On a more lighter note;
Its Amazing what some members will do to try con the officers into giving them more DKP..

Remember that Cykopatis..the same Cykopatis as here:

Then you let him loose on another person's character..

And to finish it off...

..Why not to be friends with Tnker!

Speaks for itself really :)

Tata for now.

:: Gods and towers and and trials, oh my!
Following on from Tnker's last update a number of raids and flagging events have been going on. At least three nights in the past week we have also cleared all of the BoT tower nameds, with plenty of goodies dropping for people.

Who can forget our visit to the Halls of Honour to complete our trials. Rydda`Dar was another witness to the onward progress of WoT!

After trouncing through the three trials, we took a moment to scout the lie of the land that makes up the Temple of Mithaniel Marr. Initial reports indicate an undercurrent of anxiety among the local denizens - unfortunately Mr Marr declined to comment.

And most recently last night - Grummus and Bertoxxulous falling to our blades. Can everyone hear the Elemental Planes calling our name?

:: So, what has been going in the realm of tranquility this week?
Well, we met another god, this time not for killing.

We paid another trip to Aerin'Dar's lair, which although was plagued by zone crashes and general instability, we still managed to push on through and take this guys out.

Grats Istivan on Wrath of Mithaniel and Grats Liedchen on Valorious Quarterstaff.

We then progressed for a near full clearing of the BoT towers.
Grats to Kinder and Mastery on Cap of Drowned Souls. Grats to Moniks on Greatstaff of the Four Winds and Ornate BP. Also Grats to Oovur on a Great Blade of Storms.

Then came Sunday.
What is a day of good food and rest for many people, is a day of achievement for us.
We started the day with a quick Carprin cycle, Although it got off to a sloppy start, we managed to finish the cycle and get many WoT members flagged.
We then moved on to what would turn out to be a very noble attempt to take down Rallos Zek the Warlord. We didn't make it this time, but rest assured we will take him down soon. Mark my words.
Then we moved onto a quick round of Ornate farming, with one Towers boss kill, and 2 ornate droppers in Drunder, the fortress of Zek. If we cant kill your leader, we are sure as hell going to kill you.
Grats to Tnker on Wand of the Ice Storm, and Grats to other people who obtained loot from Zek, we seem to have lost who got what =)

Thats it for this week, I'll leave you with this little snippet.

:: Fun in Kael !

Yesterday, we made an unexpected visit to Kael. We heard Derakor the Vindicator was up so we all rushed over to Kael Drakkal to give him an attempt!

After a bit of a rough start, getting to the Arena Steps, we managed to make camp and start pulling a few mobs.

We managed to kill the "trash" after a few gaps in our CH line for them.

BUT THEN!

Istivin announces that "Kallis Stormcaller" was Inc.

Again after our "Alt-Clerics-R-Us" team had a few other "problems" he went down!

Everyone was so pleased, Grats Merchants in PoK for the loot.

Was then announced that Vindi was Inc!

Everyone got ready and in postion.

Started

Getting there

Oooooh

BANG!

Clerics had a "minor problem" and their CH Chain "broke".

Yes, we wiped, but that didn't stop us logging back in, getting rezzed and starting again !

Re-pulled the trash.

Got ready for inc.

This time the healers decided to actually heal, and because of a few add's, the next thing i saw was

YES WE KILLED DERAKOR THE VINDICATOR!!!!

Grats Runeetae on Vindi BP
And
Lawren on the Giant Head thingy.

What a day !

On another note, we killed some BoT Tower Bosses - grats to

Pumok on Mantle of the Rainmaker
Horeb on Ornate Leather Tunic Pattern
Ganner on Greatstaff of the Four Winds

:: Tallon Zek down!
Today we went a step further in our PoP progression. First we killed the see-through dragon in PoV. That was a smooth and fast kill so we decided to try something a bit tougher next: Tallon Zek in PoTactics.

After the usual problems with the buggy raid feature we started the raid with a few less people than we hoped for. But it was enough: the huge bowman went down!
Flags for everyone and some nice loot:

:: Update
Well lets do a small update.

We have killed Paffa alot, he should get as tired of getting killed by us as we are getting tired of killing him

The BoT giants have fallen to the might of WoT time after another.

First Brood dragons with their quest talisman for ST key have died again and again and again....

We have also cleared NToV once again.

07:57am UTC, 5th Sep 2003

:: Update!
It has been a while since last update, so wont list everything we have done, except mention that various BoT Tower bosses have been tipped over several times.

Inbetween the trips to BoT, Overlord Banord Paffa have fallen to the blades and magics of WoT three times.

Congratulations to:
Calwen on Veil of Bile
Hiyruu and Runeetae on Rotting Hide Cape

Plane of Storms have also been visited a couple of times. Congratulations to WoT on Gurebk, Lord of Krendic and Neffiken, Lord of Kelek`Vor as guild first.

Congratulations to:
Palaman on Midnight Mantle
Suesses on Enameled Giant's Finger Ring
Yoderick on Tome of the Wind's Wisdom
Corvus on Writ of Karana
Rallan on Cobalt Ring of the Squall

Latest achievement was a trip (or rather two) to Temple of Veeshan. Raid was well executed and went more smoothly than we had dared dream of. Congratulations to all on a job well done and on the loads of goodies handed out to members. May the Lords and Ladies of Temple of Veeshan rest in peace. We thank you for being generous.

:: TT owned by WoT - Last of the 2nd tier bosses killed
Yesterday WoT decided to take out the only 2nd tier boss we hadnt killed yet. So we visited Terris Thule

There are a few ways to kill a boss mob, normaly you have the "Good way" and the "Bad way (wipe)" but when WoT kill bosses for the first time WoT uses the "WoT way" which in short means, "one more dead and we would have wiped". It is a pretty messy way to do things but since we have alot of good players and people that can think on their feet, we do win!

Lucky looters where
Corvus that got Knucklebone Beaded Veil
Conoin that got Sable Lined Mantle

We also killed a few of the BoT towers bosses, but Hey, we do that almost every day, so thats not news

10:45am UTC, 28th Jul 2003

:: Big update!
WoT did plenty of exciting stuff lately, but the people doing the news updates have been slacking. Since the last update WoT has been very busy. Some highlights:
  • Cleared NToV. We needed a bit more time than expected because the server kept resetting, but we can now finally say "been there, done that". Our first try on the Vulak ring was...interesting. We will be back.
  • killed Grummus in PoD. Pay-back time! We tried this guy about two months ago and we were found too light for him then. This time we kicked his fat butt.
  • killed Manaetic Behemoth. Very nice fight! This was our first attempt to kill him and our strategy worked perfectly. PoTactics, here we come!
  • killed Aerin`dar. The next step in our hunt for PoP flags was the ice dragon in PoV. The first try we got the beast to 2%. A small change in the pull group was enough to take him down on the second try. Nice work!

(we need a guild photographer, this picture is no good)

Some interesting thought to end this update: don't you think it's funny that all this work is done to be able hail some pet? To me that proves that the god of Norrath must be a mage! /giggle

Pet powerrrr!

:: Even the gods are not safe...

Tonight the big & ugly god Cazic Thule was crushed by WoT! He dropped two nice Robes of Inspiration which went to Balsamo and Calwen. Leirf managed to lower his cha even more with this item: Eye of Cazic Thule. Great work!

:: BoT tower and visiting some dragon friends - 2003-06-24
WoT decided to host a open raid in Wind BoT Tower. The unlucky boss were Auliffe Chaoswind. He was nice enough to drop some stuff for us. After that we decided to see if Lord Yelinak needed some help to relax. When we left he seemed very relaxed. He thanked us with a few things Since we are enjoying the company of dragons and they really love us when we come to visit. We decided to pop in for a quick coffe and cookie at Tempel of Veeshan. In the West wing we found our dear friend Lendiniara the Keeper at home. We entertained her and she gave us a few trinkets for our trouble. Dragons are sucha nice creatures! A lesser friend of Lendiniara the Keeper, also gave us an "Ancient Tarnished Breast Plate" that went to Madorf.

:: Velious - Luclin - PoP. WoT does it all
Today we fought mobs from 3 different expansions:
  1. Velious: Lord Yelinak. The main reason for killing him is of course getting another ST key (grats Xanakis!), but he also dropped some other stuff:
  2. Luclin: The Itraer Vius. I remember when we tried him a few months ago: we even joined forces with another guild and still wiped. Today it was obvious again how much stronger we got since then. Mr Vius didn't have chance :)
  3. Plains of Power: Overlord Banord Paffa. We didn't have a lot of experience dealing with the mobs in this zone yet, but after some initial bugs in the script we finally got this ugly mob to spawn. He dropped a very nice Veil of Bile which went to Balsamo.
To end the raid in WoT-style, we decided to test our strength against this mob:
What can I say...oh yeah: We will be back!

~Calwen

08:57pm UTC, 22nd Jun 2003

:: When Yeli met WoT ...
As the rest of NToV was mopped up overnight, WoT introduced ourselves to Lord Yelinak over in Skyshrine. The score might have been 1-all, but it would seem the dragons haven't worked out how to rez each other yet - guess that means we win! Grats to Fenrik on an ST key.

Lest the giants start thinking we liked them, with all this dragon killing, we popped over to Kael and killed Vindi in record time.

:: NToV round 2! *ding*

:: Great night in nToV
After giving HoD a shot at Aary we entered nToV and stormed it WoT style.

5 named mobs down, 16 nice pieces of loot and a few people sleeping at their keyboards later we stumbled out and recognised the trip as our best performance in nToV yet.

Oh and grats Dari on the new thong, just a pity i forgot to take a screenie.

:: Velks and Bees
Quick trip to the lab resulted in an easy Velketor the Sorcerer kill.

With a few people logging for the night we took the remaining people off to PoS to try and kill Ston'Ruak, Ancient of Trees. Took us a couple of wipes to get sorted out before well and truly swotting the pest.

~Daerneik

11:19pm UTC, 9th Jun 2003

:: Sontybabes and Lord K.
More dead dragons littering our path! A very quick raid tonight, but it didn't stop us killing Sontalak and whisking thorugh NToV showing how drastically we can improve just for one long Sunday raid. Virtually no deaths in NToV (Polg making up for it on the run *to* Sonty in the first place) and a fast kill of Lord Kriezenn - a dragon who seemed like a complete wuss in comparison. What a difference bard songs make!

Grats all for more loots...

:: The north winds are blowing...

Welcome WoT to NToV!

Starting Thursday, we snuck in early and took out the gatekeeper, Aaryonar! Hurrah - welcome to the NToV Rota! Eashen of the Skies, Lord Feshlak, and Dargaryn the Destroyer all dead, plus Telkorenar on the way over.

We've learned that it takes longer to recover a single corpse in Cobalt Scar than to drag an entire raid out of Lord Vyemm's lair, that Shroud of Stealth saves a LOT of coffin money (all the better to spend on CotH pearls!), and an awful lot of strategy on the dragons so far. Every drake wyrm and dragon dead is the guild raid force being that much more in tune with what's going on - we'll be clearing NToV before we know it :)

Grats to lots of people on our first batch of NToV loot, and for finally starting to make a dent in some of those indecent point totals the grandparents of the guild have built up:

:: Random odds and sods to keep people kinda updated....
Well as people may have noticed.. there hasn't been much news posted recently.... why.... well were all lazy... especially fuudce.

Very briefly. some of the mobs dead are..

  • Klandicar
  • Sontalek
  • Velketor the Sorcerer
  • Lcea Katta
  • The Vadyn
  • Rumblecrush

Eerrr am i the only one here who finds doing all these links .... well ... boring ??
Even if i am.... I've had enough for now..... we have killed the usual other stuff like POS named giants.... Zelinthak.... Vindi... We Tried the POS Lords.... got down to 25% health... then he despawned while we were getting ready to try again. Had a pop at Thought Horror Overfiend in the Deep....MT going LD during the fight didnt help but we got him down to 34% on our first attempt despite this... Next time we will have him :)

Enough from me, time to go and actually play this game instead of typing about it )

    See you all soon, Slappah

    04:57pm UTC, 12th May 2003

  • :: Telk / Gozzrem and Eeeeeevil clerics
Well its been a long time since i came to the world of the news section fo these boards so lets see if i can remember how we do it :)

I have no idea when this happened.... but trust me it did....

The basic story was Telk and Gozzrem were up in Wtov so we meandered over to go say hi... hows ya father? .... and well... kill them, this we did .... but not in the usual way.
You see, for a while now we have been a little short on Tanks, well at least Warriors, then for some reason we had 4 warriors a couple pallies and a SK all in one raid...... this made the clerics.... especially Leirf go a bit funny and concoct an evil plan... they seemed to think that this would be an ideal opportunity to play "How long will the tanks stay alive if we pretend to go oom (but we all know they were still FM.... there just evil). Well everything was going fine.... telk was biting the dust nicely.... then...... OOM.... OOM..... OOM..... and daska pooped his pants.... then died.... then sephir (guest) died.... then Runeetae died..... then polg.... then Brotherhound.... then random ranger 01..... then random ranger 02.... then super monk 1 (me)..... then a few others... then...... TELK DEAD yay :p
as a way of saying sorry for killing us telk droped a nice lance for Tualador...
  • Lance of Thunder

    He also dropped ....
  • Black Rock Maul of Crushing
    which went to brotherhound

We also killed gozzrem..... but this was muxh less eventfull. Relatively simple kill.... the clerics thought they'd heal the tanks for a change, only shame was the loot.

    He dropped two..
  • Circlet of the Silver Skies

    04:20pm UTC, 12th May 2003

  • :: A Trip to a Labratory
We were having a nice stroll to Velketor's Labratory today, when a nasty guy called Velketor the Sorcerer started to rant about killing us. So we killed him.

He dropped a few nice items:

On a lighter note, while we were gathering we had a train of which Slappah would have been proud. Corvus showed us how he likes to have fun gathering for raids:

:: Plane of Hate and a guild first
Yesterday the guild took a trip to the Plane of Hate, mainly to earn money for the guild bank. After a rocky start (I wasn't there then, but I'm told Slappah pulled one of her infamous trains) we got underway and earned a tidy sum of money.

We didn't only get the money though. We managed to get epic items for Rallan and Suesses, and managed to do a guild first by defeating Innoruuk. Polg showed his composure and skill underpressure by tieing his beard to the floor, to avoid the Gravity Flux type AE spell.

    :: Vindi again
A nice spot of faction work after the weekends ToV time, a few members went on a quick visit to trash some named giants in POS for their BoT keys and then we all headed to Kael for a very nice Vindi kill. ~Daerneik

    08:47pm UTC, 15th Apr 2003 (Updated 09:27pm UTC, 15 Apr 2003)

    :: Dragon Slaying
Bye bye CoV faction. Today was dragon slaying day! We had a full raid force ready to kick dragon butt in ToV. The dragons in WToV still looked upon us amiably when we went to visit them, but that changed after we killed Telkorenar and Gozzrem.

    Loot:

After that we decided it was time to stop being nice to the fat wurm defending the Temple of Veeshan entrance. We went outside and attacked Sontalak. He did a fine job of dispelling Feador of all his buffs, but that didn't stop us from killing him (her?). Another first for WoT!
He dropped a key piece to ST that went to Feador and some spells to fill the books from Daerneik and Mandah.

Next thing on the schedule was a sight seeing tour in NToV. We knew there were no named dragons alive, but there was plenty to learn without those up, like:

    • Losing CoV faction is really easy.
    • Gating mobs are bad news.
    • Feador likes Flurry drakes ;)
    • Being the CoH mage is a very relaxing job. It gets fun when you see the raid wipe in front of you so you can save the day. /flex
    • When you think it's safe to go into the exit room, it's probably better to kill the 4 drakes inside first.

    We will be back!

:: Statue of Rallos Zek and Vindi
We were in Kael just finally maxing our faction to sort out our last HoT MQ's before we trash our faction in NToV and Vindi pindi puddin and pie was up, gee we thought... It would be rude not to kill him, wouldn't it, so he came... we slaughtered... Chestplate of Vindication went to Brotherhound

The raid went quiet... There were some mumblings about statue being up.

Being the Brave beings that us monks are, Seda and Slappah proceeded on a valiant mission to play pattycake pattycake with the statue and his guards... Unlike Mr Feador we do this without the usual 5 clerics that he has to hold his hand when he sees a big ol' scary mob, gee monks must surely be the bravest of the brave me thinks !!

Well a bit later we pulled the statue into camp in a "Slappah Pull"(tm) with 4 of his friends from the arena keeping him company (see monks truly are brave)... We knew we would be fine but the others were scared. Phhfftt what wimps !!! After some nice work by all controlling and killing the adds, and finally dealing with Mr Statue we scored our first ever kill on the guy :)

He was sooo pleased to be killed he droped two of these...
    Breastplate of Eradication

Congratulations to Feador and Polg on their new BPs. Finally we are weening down Feador's Huuuuuuge mountain of points hehe... no more hording the loot for you mate!

Was a good morning for us. And was fun to see another Guild first for WoT :)

Big statue, tiny Feador getting a beating and Braktus sitting on his butt. How typical :)

After re-maxing factions for most of the guild, we cleared out much of the guild hoarde of SS pieces for MQ. Grats to all... We picked up a few others bits and bobs along the way today, grats to these guys too - Seems we're now thoroughly ready for NToV dragon (and faction) trashing tomorrow!

Well 10 WoT and a few friends were out on a picnic in Umbral planes when we saw this giant mage run across the zone and summon a pet... gee we thought... thats a big earth pet. Being brave and heroic as we are we challenged the mage to a duel with his pet.... he accepted and we splatted it.
For a pet it dropped some nice gear as well :)

Grats Nojmak on Breastplate of Integrity
and Grats Xanakis on Totem of Shadows

Was a Fun kill with only a few people :)

:: Goodness Gracious !! Great RING's of FIRE
30 WoT members moseyed on over to Acrylia Caverns on Tuesday evening and stepped into the Ring of Fire. The last time we tried this li'l old encounter we got splatted in like the first or second wave.

Well tonight they came.... they saw.... and they got through to the 5th wave. A great improvement from last time. We WILL be back for more :)

Grats Conoin on a funky new sword: Bone Bladed Scimitar
and Mindaru on a Bone Collar of the Possessed (with 5 clicks of Clarity).

:: Kith General minced, PoS Giants cut down, Xanamech crash landed.
A quick and clean kill of General V`ghera for Sopor's epic was today's appetizer, followed by a main course of PoS giants. Faruek the Bold, Paruek the Strong, Pendubk the Turbulent, Solnebk the Unruly and Zertuken the Unyielding all dead to our motley crew, winning us several more BoT keys for the guild.

Xanamech Nexmirthafen makes a crash landing. Dessert was a very sweet dish of a perfect PoI dragon kill, with a fantastic drop for Feador. Looks like Xanamech needs to learn how to steer...

    :: Rumblecrush crushed
Today we killed the daddy of all earth pets: Rumblecrush. An LD main tank at the start of the fight made it a bit more challenging, but he was still no match for us.

:: Klandicar and Halls of Testing
A long day's farming in HoT, with new firsts for the guild - Klandicar dead early in the day and Sian with our first ST key. ~Dariell

:: Xanamech Nexmirthafen bites the dust
The clockwork dragon in the Plane of Innovation didn't know what hit him this evening, in a near-flawless victory despite this being a first time for the Guild. Nitram has promised to do some more research into his mechanical wonder, and assures us he'll have it fixed for next time. Not that we don't believe in that gnome - but we'll have our swords along regardless.

Congrats to all on a job sweetly done, and to those who earned the rewards...

    :: Ring War
We took a trip to the Great Divide to take part in the war for Soulshearts tenth ring. We killed hordes of giants, from ever-summoning spearmen to annoying sow speed veterans, ending with the death of Narandi the Tormented.
Soulsheart was overjoyed by his new ring, and who can blame him?

Here is the other loot of note:

    :: PoN Maze
We completed the hedge quest, following Thelin Poxxbourne around a maze and killing wave after wave of monsters, culminating in the Construct of Nightmares.

    We obtained:

:: Vindi (again), Named Forest Giants (PoS).
Little did Vindi know when he spawned this evening that we were laying in wait! His peace was short-lived, however, and a flawless kill meant that he gave us another of his BPs.

A trip to the Plane of Storms afterwards left Zertuken the Unyielding and Laruken the Rigid reeling, allowing Armak to finish off his BoT key and several more to get one step closer.

:: Vindi, Myral, Renux bite the dust.
Derakor the Vindicator proved no match this afternoon for a fairly small team without many of our old-timer raid regulars, kindly giving our favourite dwarf pally his BP for our trouble.

Pretorian Myral, having heard of Vindi's messy demise, tried to hide away in Grieg's End. He was tracked down and we ensured his fate was just as swift and as final as Vindi's, winning Katsor a yummy slicer'n'dicer.

Finally, we nipped over to pay Renux Harkenor a visit, re-doing Sopor's epic after his General encounter was messed up by another rogue. The General will be paid a visit soon!

    :: Grummus 2 - The Return (14/03)
Joined up with X'Agon with the aim of joint revenge, trashed our way through Aramin, but wiped on Grummus. Decided to call it after one try, and to rethink strategy before we try it again with X'Agon. ~Dariell

:: PoI Dragon, PoS Lords (11/03)
We teamed up with X'Agon again, intending to wreak revenge on Grummus. Botschaft der Shicksals beat us to the diaper-clad lummock, so we decided to visit the PoI dragon. As fate would have it, a runaway pet decided to kill off the gnome trigger, so rather than wait on spawn times, we headed for the giant Lords in PoS.

After clearing the forest giants, Neffiken, Lord of Kelek`Vor put up a briefly valiant fight, before succumbing to the combined might of the two guilds. He seemed much easier than we were expecting, so expect to see these become a common target.

Congratulations to Feador (and the clerics) on outliving your first boss mob (*snicker*), and also to those who won loot...

    • Bulwark of Storms to Mindaru
    • Glyphed Rune Word to X'Agon
    • Spectral Parchments for Suesses and Venomia
    • Medallions to Jerish, Stheno, and Knomb

:: Telkorenar, Gozzrem and an 8th Shawl (09/03)
With only 2 clerics, Telk went down this time, and Gozz followed right after. Nice work, all!

This was followed by a very quick end to a very long quest, but Suesses now has a Blessed Coldain Prayer Shawl to show for months of hard work. Hurrah!

:: Victory in the 10th Ring War
We hosted our first Ringwar last night, a large number of guild members and a host of other people helping, friends and strangers both, gave us a near perfect Victory. Very few deaths, other than Giants, and a full complement of Dwarven Heroes survived to see Narandi fall. One last Elite Guard broke through our ranks to reach Thurgadin, but arrived mere seconds after Narandi spawned, so although the city was laid waste, the Coldain guards could rest safe knowing that their families had been avenged.

Congratulations Feador, on his sparkly new Ring of Dain Frostreaver IV!

'Grats also to those who picked up some of the other loot...
